morning all! I saw the title of the thread so thought i would share with you all the little bargain I had emailed to me this morning from kgbdeals - E-cig kit worth £59.90 for £6.00

    http://www.kgbdeals.co.uk/birmingham/deals/140757/electronic-cigarette-red-kit--lifestyle-cigarettes--birmingham?&utm_source=et&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=dailydeal&utm_term=140757&utm_content=birmingham&kidgb=6cf93e7c-3d38-11e0-830a-0024e8696030
They might claim that's worth 59 pounds, but there's no way it's worth that. More like a tenner.

Hi all - I don't know if this has been mentioned already but yesterday I bought an e-cig from E-Lites (can't post the link as I'm too new) - the reviews on the website seem pretty good although not too sure how legit they are. I don't know if I'm allowed to post it but I also managed to find a voucher code online which gave me the E200 starter pack thingy for £19.99 + Delivery instead of £39.99 + Delivery. It hasn't arrived yet so not able to recommend although the offer itself is pretty good! The voucher code is : E2TJW

Sorry if I'm not allowed to post this for whatever reason :-/
Good luck everybody trying to quit or at least be healthier about it!
  • Hi coochy

again there are far better deals and far better e-cigs than e-lites.

To get an idea of what else can be bought for the money pop across here for some unbiased advice

You'd be best to remove the code from your post in this thread and post the code on the Discount codes board :)
  • I've just googled this offer Coochy. Unfortunately their tips will not be the equivilent of 40 cigs each, more like 10!

For £20 you could get a similar kit but with 2 batteries. 1 battery just isn't enough as what will you use when charging it?
  • Just an example of how much these intro kits should cost

    Hi Erme:wave:
The kit came through very quickly. (Hubby had gone ahead and ordered the one I originally posted about not realising I'd asked for advice on here. Talk about keen!)
Hubby is having no problem at all with it, he's using it through the day to replace the nasty-cigs, and has even got his step father (a die hard 50 a day smoker who has tried unsuccessfully to stop many times) interested in it.
I, on the other hand, cough for Scotland when I try to use it. (even just a wee sook on it) I think there might be something wrong with my technique. I'm going to persevere as I read on some of the other forums you guys recommended that some people need time to get used to it, and I'm also going to try to mimic the way hubby is using it. I was pressing the button and THEN inhaling the vapour into my mouth then inhaling into my lungs. He presses the button AS he inhales and has no problems. What do you think? Technique?
Can anyone recommend a supplier of the liquids?
Thank you for your support and advice so far :A - Jeannie xx

    Ahhh man!!!

I just read the reviews on their own website and took them as gospel! Note to self: shop around more.

The e-cig arrived yesterday and I must say that I am a little disappointed with it to be honest! The vapour isn't really what I was expecting (someone on their reviews board had said he'd been blowing smoke rings all day so I assumed there'd be a lot - to make it seem like I was really 'smoking') the feeling at the back of my throat when I inhale makes me cough a little, not sure if this is just something I have to get used to though. The packaging is quite attractive with the charger being the 'packet' itself. The tip is green, they charge £9.99 for the red tip, I thought it'd be ok because I didn't realise how bright it would be!

To be honest, I saw the offer in the paper and it was pretty big, a page I think, I thought it'd be a good company to go for with the offer etc. I should've shopped around more and read this thread before I actually bought it! Doh!!

Maybe I'll end up liking it etc but for now, I don't rate it too much!
  • Sorry you're disappointed Couchy. A lot of people are disappointed in these cig-a-likes and unfortunately it can put people right off the whole idea of e-cigs. There are some great kits about from sellers that don't spend a large part of their budget on advertising!

Jeanie, it may be the juice you're using, the technique or the way you have filled it.

It would be great if you both popped over to AAEC, so much easier to give advice on a dedicated e-cig forum and you would get lots of opinions from others

This is a review site but the videos might be good for the technique. :)

Scott can blow smoke rings...it's not so much an info site but still. Tells you how to blow smoke rings if you are interested. Might be worth a looky for the technique?

I personally find it I inhale too much and too deeply I cough for scotland but still....

Sorry to the newbies who've gotten bad buys lately ...hugs...Get a cheap kit from somewhere reputable first (should cost no more than £10 - a beginner kit about £20 or so plus liquid).

And make sure the threads on the cartridge are 510 fitting!!!!
