Hi Jeannie,
Most good starter kits come with 2 batteries as you can recharge one while using the other. So you will really need a kit each. The ego is a good e-cig, but the T type has issues with leaking. So you would do better to get an ego (or Riva) kit with cartomisers or clearomisers.
As for the strength of e-liquid to go for, it's based on how many cigs you smoked per day as well as the strength of the cigs. So at 20 a day, I would suggest you go for a medium (12mg -18mg) e-liquid.

if you're not bothered about your e-cig looking like a ciggie and would like long battery life, this kit is really good value at the moment, although you will need to buy some e-liquid to fill the cartos

Thank you Karmacookie really useful video on the page about filling a cartomiser too- I was wondering about how to go about that. I think I'll go ahead and order that one then.
I definitely need the forum and will join. It's a whole new vocabulary. Determined to get off these nasty smelly expensive things though. No spend days 2/20, Food for 5 for January £30.67/£200, Fuel/Transport £0/260, Charitable giving £20

morning all! I saw the title of the thread so thought i would share with you all the little bargain I had emailed to me this morning from kgbdeals - E-cig kit worth £59.90 for £6.00
http://www.kgbdeals.co.uk/birmingham/deals/140757/electronic-cigarette-red-kit--lifestyle-cigarettes--birmingham?&utm_source=et&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=dailydeal&utm_term=140757&utm_content=birmingham&kidgb=6cf93e7c-3d38-11e0-830a-0024e86960300 -
Hi Newcook
If you do sign up for that deal make sure you don't sign up for one of these continuous payments. also, often these deals look really good but the 'thread' of the e-cig can be incompatible with any other cartos thus ensuring that you are stuck buying that company's often overpriced cartos!
Even though it looks like a good deal, there are much better options if you want to save money by swapping over to an e-cig0
