I bought the skycig deal, and am now 11 days smoke free! I'm really happy with the skycig although I know many don't rate the "cig-alike" types, and although the refills are pricey, I'll still be saving a massive amount compared to smoking real cigs.

I'm hoping to use this to cut down completely. I went from 20 a day normal cigs to 12ml menthol sky cig cartridges, and have also bought some 6ml ones, which Im hoping to move on to in a few weeks. 1 cartridge is lasting me about 1.5-2 days. Once I've cut down to the 6mls, I'd like to go nicotine free, but also using a nicotine patch, so I can step that down, and disassociate the habit with the nicotine addiction. Sky cigs don't do nic free cartridges,so does anyone know any nic free compatible cartridges? I'd rather not faff around with refilling and liquid and just buy ready filled ones. (I know its more expensive, but I want to make life as easy as poss for myself, and I'm hoping to be done and dusted in 6 months or less:) )

    Well done Jody!

I can't think of anywhere that sells pre-filled cartos that are nic free! You can get empty ones that will fit your sky cig and nic free e-juice that you can fill them with! Or, top up the carts you already have with nic free juice?

these will fit, or any that say they are a 510 fitting

nic free e-juice here, choose that option in the drop down box

    Good luck

VIP seem to do nic free cartridges - but how would I know if they would fit?

They look as if they have the 510 thread on them, so worth taking the chance if your other ones also use that.

Checking out the Skycig, it certainly looks like a 510 fitting, too.

The sky cig is definitely a 510 fitting but not sure about the vip!
  • Im not a smoker myself, but my girlfriend was, which of course I wasnt too happy about. So I bought her an electronic cigarette from a company online called No Match Ltd (no-match.co.uk) The initial cost of the full kit was around £60, but now she only pays £4.99 for a bottle of liquid (instead of around £7 per day) and that bottle lasts her near 2 weeks ! This is a massive saving for her (around £30 per week), and a lot less arguments because of the nasty smells and smoke that real cigarettes produce. So I would definately recommend one of these !
p.s at the moment, the company we bought it from has a 25% sale on all sales over £50....
So even more money can be saved :)

    Thanks Mersey...

Just had a look at the possible kit. There are cheaper kits on the market for newbies that are a bit more MSE I have to say - but I guess you knew that....

Also lots of vendors (there's like 101 literally) have sales on right now. I just got some lovely stuff from one of them cos they had 25% off.

And be careful of advertising with the mods Mersey. I know most of us on this thread love e-cigs but there's a crowd on here that don't and they watch us...(they have nothing else better to do)

    as for me....

I got my Golden Burginia sample today and also my cig a like cartos and am very happy. Also got a few other vaping goodies. Interesting to note that just knowing something to take my urge for tobacco was coming took the craving away...

got a very nice girlie e-cig (widely available) for £15 from my friendly chappie...with the nice flavours. Love it. Good smoke. Good taste. Perfect size for out and about (it's an ego/riva battery)...very happy. Just wondering why it's taken me a year to get one LOL

  • Hi Erme,

Yes we were shown cheaper kits and have seen the cheapo ones in garages etc, but we were advised due to the amount she smoked that we were best getting a bigger kit as the very cheap ones are more like disposable.

I didnt realise we couldnt mention company name/sites. I thought the idea of this site was to spread the word of offers, etc for others to save money :o , and other posters before me are linking to sites ?

The beauty of the place we went to in Preston was that they let her try any of the kits before buying, so she knew that it would do the job :D

  • MerseyRay, Erme is right, I've just checked No match & they are not cheap. You can get the same or even better kits for less from other e-cig vendors. Their juice isn't that cheap either. @ £4.99 for 10ml. You can buy 50ml for just over £10.00 from some of the good UK vendors.
