Personally, I wouldn't buy from oksmokey due to a lie/mistake on his webpage. On the first page it mentions that 5 cartridges equals 100 cigarettes. The owner of the site is either lying or doesn't know much about the product he is selling.
Five cartridges for any of the electronic cigarettes could never equal 100 normal cigs. This is why I point people to the e-cig forum - so they can get informed.

jeannieblue - unless you smoked around 2 or 3 cigarettes a day I don't believe for one moment that you have been using one cartridge for "days" without topping it up.
Any normal 20+ a day smoker would use at least three or four cartridges per day, or around 2ml of juice. I prefer using the juice option because it comes in such nice flavours.
Any seller saying that one cartridge equals 20 cigs is either lying, or misinformed and therefore ignorant about their product. There isn't currently an e-cig on the market that has a cartridge that equals 20 cigarettes. Fortunately the cartridges are so cheap that it doesn't matter, except for the misinformation.
Once again I'll mention http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ for people who want to educate themselves.

I wasn't a 20 a day person.... More like 10 to fifteen max. I work full time so that stops me smoking too much anyway.
So lets calm down and stop calling people liars. I have given you the details of what I found and if you have a problem with that, then I am sorry. I am new to the e cig thing - and I speak as I find. I'm still experimenting and will comment as I find too.Genie

Hyped claims for cart/fag equivalence are published by the Chinese manufacturers, UK retailers are just parroting the figures. I've written to a couple of sellers but it's a waste of breath. Simon at e-cigs.co.uk says one cart = 6 fags.
I have found that heavy, desperate smokers just accept it because we are so overcome with joy at finding something to get us off tobacco. One of the reasons I got so stressed - the reason I got so stressed advising Jeannie was that she is a light smoker and I thought she might be upset by the temperamental-ness (!) of the harware and the short life of the carts.
George sends his regards, JeannieI bought a bottle of "Liquid Gold" very high strength because I've just got some vegetable glycerine - you put a drop with the e-juice and it produces more vapour, so you can buy a higher strength juice and stretch it, thus saving money.

I am very tempted to get one of these for my bloke he has mentioned about giving up and says he is starting to hate the cost and the smell and the effect on his health. How does this juice thing work then - you buy it and use it to refill cartridges? how similar is it to real smoking - do you end up preffering it? What strength or flavour woruld you suggest for my bloke he smokes approx 20-30 daily or embassy or lambert & butler? It's hard to get my head around.
I am tempted to have a try to I do miss smoking occassionally.0 -
Minnie, see my post #89 above, that tells you what to buy (suggestion!).
One was intended to buy cartridges which have some 'gauze' soaked in nicotine+flavour liquid inside them. However, there is also the liquid which you can drip into the cartridge when it gets dry-ish - this gives you a choice of nicotine strength and a huge range of flavours (none of which are like tobacco, live with it!), and saves money. I personally drip the liquid (juice) straight into the atomiser, about 3 drops, I find it's more satisfactory.
Just buy a kit and use it.

Oksomkey is brilliant - so too is Oksmokey..typo..
George is great - if you have any queries or what I call stupid questions, just email him and he comes right back!
Recommend you email him re flavour - his virginia ones are my favourite - and even tho Joolz doesn't believe me, lasted two days!! A bit over that if I am honest and have to take into account that I've been at home as it is the weekend so therefore 'smoke' more.
If you email him, he will probably put in a cartridge for you to try of the virginia, he did for me (bless him) - but he dispatches very quickly, so may already be parcelled up and ready to go by now tho... And I preferred those cartridges more so too as they were 'round' where as the others I had were flat on the sucky bit - which I didn't like!!Genie

So the cartridge bit is the bit you suck on then. I noticed he had B&H and L&B flavours too. Interesting.0
