I expect he recommends all his liquids
. I've ordered the extra strong Liquid Gold (should be here tomorrow, I'll report here), which I'm going to "dilute" with vegetable glycerine BP.
Glycerine increases the amount of vapour and is handy for making juice go further, thus saving money as the higher nicotine juices don't cost any more than low-dose ones. I bought mine online but it's available very cheap in Boots, other pharmacies, and supermarkets.

Which strength are you ordering of the virginia. I can only see either virginia or mint in the cartridges on his website. I emailed to ask him what liquid he recommends but he hasn't got back to me.
I got my cartridges of virginia today - and George enclosed some mint for me to try - will let you know if I like them!
Minnie did you via ebay or website? Try emailing him direct from website.Genie

I'll be trying the liquid when I am more experienced......I'm doing pretty well but did have a couple of 'real' ones today.

I got the e-cig and charged and tried it - I hate it - their doesn't seem to be barely and vapour/smoke and the taste seems really weird. I can't see my boyfriend liking it I will get him to try tomorrow. It's just it seemed kind or a mechanical taste if that makes sense. I used the high strength cartridge and I didn't seem to get a nicotine buzz like I expected

It may be that your atomiser is going to take a few days to "warm up". Dripping 2-3 drops of juice directly into it usually helps, that's one reason I advise buying a bottle with your starter kit. I have had completely dead atomisers occasionally
Hold the e-cig tip-down and take long, slow, gentle drags to warm up the atomiser and prevent juice coming thru the cart-hole. The usual technique for an e-cig drag is a little preparatory puff followed quickly by a long slow one.
As for the taste, if it's "mechanical" rather than just unfamiliarly sweetish (or, like one lot of carts I bought, like dead dogs), that reinforces my thoughts above, it sounds like an "under-primed" atomiser. (I have just spent A FORTUNE on a custom-made e-cig that came highly recommended by everyone who's used it, but it's taken me a week to get it going properly, I've been at my wits' end - and even now it's not worth all that extra dosh.)
I hope I have (and think I have) mentioned "temperamental-ness" in this thread, and said that you need to be tolerant and be prepared to faff. That's why I find it difficult to recommend to comparatively light smokers like darling Jeannie (who, to be fair, is giving it a darn good go once she bit the bullet - hugs !!!!{Jeannie}}}). Having said that, I've seen people say "Got my e-cig this morning, WOW, it's great, I'll never smoke fags again". There's just no serious quality control on the hardware, it's infuriating
That's also why I keep recommending a visit to the eBay e-cig group - there's so much info and support there, and whatever you're going through, we've "been there, done that, got the umpteen t-shirts".

There are "stickies" at the top of the discussion lists which are useful for newbies to read thru, but even when "innocents" post "Please help" without bothering to read them, they get ultra-friendly answers and guidance, no remonstrations or fobbing off.
If you cannot get your e-cig going, report back to your seller. Good luck

My boyfriend has tried the e-cig and he quite likes it BUT their is barely any vapour whatsoever some drags there is none. He has been puffing on it all day so do you think the atomiser should be fully primed by now. I think I need to e-mail the seller maybe it's a dud. I watched the films on youtube of the dse901 and the vapour they are getting is what I expected. This one is like the tiniest puff you can barely see it if you know what I mean. Jeannie what was yours like - you have the same one as me?0

Did you buy juice? That is very helpful for getting it going.
And yes, Jeannie does have the same one as you if you bought the Mini.

I found the first cartridge was too much in a way!! But that was virginia one that George thru in for me - it settled down and I liked it - guys at worked tried it ( not hygenic really but there you go...). I tried a 'normal' one and it was so so...
I think the virginia ones are better. Also I do find that you sometimes have to do a little suck first and then another - it is practice! I am better some times than others and really don't know why.
I think that my first cartridge may have been over filled but it did give off more vapour - which makes me think that Veronarona has a point with the topping up idea... I think you can put a drop or two of water in to get more vapour, but don't quote me or try it until someone confirms that!!
Email George and ask for some help - go via his website. He is really nice and helpful.Genie

veronarona I did see your post thanks. I went to the ebay group that is how I found the links to the youtube videos. My e-cig does not work anything like those videos. I have just tried a new cartridge and it is still the same to get any vapour I have to do like 5 to 6 mini puffs and even then it's a miniscule amount.0

Try changing the battery to one you are sure is fully charged. If that doesn't help, it's definitely the damn atomiser  I've always thought they should include 2 of them, as with the batteries.
In desperation, have you tried:
- Unscrewing atomiser and blowing fairly hard through the screw end?
- Squeezing some juice from a cart (failing having a bottle of juice) into the atomiser? If you look down the open end which attaches to the cart, you will see a bit of "wire wool". Try to drip so that it hits that, but I'm quite careless so don't worry too much. Try to get about 3 drops from the gauze.
When there's something wrong with performance it's a very hit and miss affair trying to diagnose the source of the problem, but I feel convinced that, as long as your batteries are OK, it's the atomiser.
I was hoping that other experienced vapers might chip in, it's lonely here and I feel so responsible
