It's certainly interpreted differently in my part of the world and is actually used to describe a "foolish person". Now I don't exactly consider calling someone a fool to be abusive

Congratulations, Guesthouse, on getting access to your funds so promptly.

Just as a matter of interest, when did you receive your first email, what's the first letter of your surname and when did you open your icesave account?

Apparently batches are to be sent randomly, but I can't quite believe that, and I find, personally, idle speculation amuses me and helps pass the time while I await further instructions.

First mail was last monday or tuesday, surname starts "s", e-mail starts "d", living in NE Scotland, shoe size 8, all my own hair.

On what date did you open the account in question for which you have now received the second email from FSCS and managed to transfer out the money?

    :rotfl: Many thanks, Guesthouse!

The only piece of information you gave from which I can draw any spurious conclusion is the fact that you received your 1st email early (last monday or tuesday).

What I wanted to hear was that you received your 1st email last friday!

A few folk are speculating that there was a small release of e-mails to verify the process works so it might just be luck.
