She got two emails today - one refunding her the £75.00 and another refunding the 'free trial' postage and cancelling the order.

I don't think this is a scam but it is definitely dodgy. I received the three bottles the day after I placed my order and was surprised that there was no purchase receipt or returns details. All that was in the package was the bottles and a leaflet. That sent alarm bells ringing. I then called the 0844 number to try to cancel the subscription and couldn't get an answer. I started googling suspecting a scam and came across this forum. I emailed the support email address stating that I wished to cancel my subscription but could not get through on the telephone. I received an automated response saying that they would respond within 72 hours. Not satisfied by this I then called my credit card company. They advised me to cancel my card and get a new one sent out so that the company could not take any further money out of it. They also advised me to call the Retailer Disputes Team to make sure I wasn't in any tricky legal position with the contract etc. I decided to try the 0844 cancellation number one more time and after holding for 10 minutes, finally got through to a very nice English guy.
I explained that I wanted to cancel my subscription and was give two return numbers and a return address. He advised sending it recorded delivery to protect myself so that I can track it. He asked why I was cancelling and I explained that the reason I had started worrying was because I couldn't get through on the phone line. He said they'd been really busy due to the Bank Holiday and that it was a shame that people felt it was a scam. He advised me that I was entitled to keep 50% of the tablets. However, my husband has convinced me not to take them. It worries me that they accept 50% of the product bag and presumably re-package them to send to other people. You have absolutely no idea if someone has done something dodgy to the tablets. I've also had second thoughts about taking tablets bought on the internet!
All in all, it has cost 2 x £2.49 plus the cost of posting it back and I haven't taken any of the tablets. I'm sure they are fine and they may work but I don't feel comfortable taking them. Please don't panic that this is a scam. The guy on the cancellation line advised that 3.30 - 4pm is the best time to call as their lines are quieter. You will eventually get through and as long as you send 50% of the product back within the time limit, you will not be further charged. I just wish I had got through on the phone line before I cancelled my credit card!0 -
I also stupidly ordered these after being sucked in reading an article in the daily mail and after seeing an advert on facebook. Thankfully quite quickly I realised there were a lot of unhappy people out there who had been scammed out of hard earned cash. I panicked initially but tried to email a cancellation through the website which I succeeded in doing. I had ordered the 'acai berry' and the 'colon cleanse' products at £2.95. I did get a message saying they may not pick up the email for 72 hours but after ten minutes I had been sent a confirmation od receipt and then two cancellation emails for both products. I am assuming because I cancelled within minutes of ordering that they had not yet been sent out so am hoping that is the end of the matter. They closed at 5 but I will be trying to ring tomorrow to speak to someone in person. Fingers crossed all will be fine.0

This is a hard nosed scam. I have been caught out for £112.50 already and been unable to reach anyone by phone nor had anything but automatic stock responses by email. Whilst emailing them yet again as I cannot return them ( as leaving for airport shortly!) in their time limit my postman handed me another pack of them. This despite getting a response yesterday which said my 'subscription' had been cancelled. I ran after him and asked him to take them back but I bet they try to take another huge chunk of money from my account.
This has ruined my holiday what with the worry and being unable to get my account shut down and all my direct debits moved. Not to mention being very short of holiday money now.

I have now lost over 250.00 to this. My emails to cancel triggered a second delivery which although I refused my bank has to pay out. Now had to close my account and going on holiday in tears with virtually no money....Living on Earth can be expensive, but it does include an annual free trip around the Sun.0

NOTE: The number given on the cancellation page (proactionacai.com/cancel/cancel.php) is an 0844 number. The person above was lucky to not get through becuase these 0844 numbers can have virtually any billing rate - the sky's the ceiling!
Also note that a WHOIS on the website domain shows it to be hidden - i.e. cloaked for secrecy! You should ask yourself...

I have been through pages of posts on this forum and others in both UK and USA. In USA there seems to be steps being taken against this crew.
There are forums there who have got people together to present a case but I can't find anything similar in the UK. Does anyone know where I can lodge an official complaint or of any group which is fighting to get this scum shut down in UK? I have all the emails from them full of contradictions and outright lies which I would like to present to trading Standards at least and also some of the Major Newspapers etc they have claimed have written positive reports and tests of their 'product'.
If enough people actively came together to show how many thousands have been ripped off for hundreds of pounds and dollars it could at least get these creatures into court!Living on Earth can be expensive, but it does include an annual free trip around the Sun.0 -

I have been unable to get any address or contact details to chase down my £250.00 and they just ignore all emails.
