Same sh*t, different day.
I was assured by KE (twice) that this weeks payments had gone out via CHAPS, so thats further evidence of contradictory, misleading information.
I initiated my CHAPS payment on the 6th Oct (but after 2pm so expected processing/receipt on the 7th). Money left LE on 8th. Still awaited at LTSB. Destination account information correct.
I also had my CHAPS fee recredited to my KE account on the 20th... frankly I don't give a stuff about that when they have lost thousands of my hard earned/saved pounds.0 -

Regarding time of transfer being significant, i dont think it is, as i know that i initiated my transfer within minutes of another MSE person.... His turned up, I drew the short straw !0 -

08451313234 is the general customer service number for K.E.
Took about 20 minutes to get through this morning at 11.30am.
The rep I spoke to was able to access my account and tell me when the transfer was from and how much for.
48 hours (working days) needed to investigate (so thats monday and tuesday).
They will call me back on Tuesday.
Luckily I get paid from work on Monday!!
Chaps 8/10 from K.E. 22k not arrived.0 -
Check back with you later, going for some fresh air. This theory of 7th - 8th is gathering a bit of momentum, perhaps that will make it easier for them to trace and then we might have a speedy recovery to our cash?0

I'm another who CHAPS'd my money on the 8th! Still no sign of it. Was told they would ring me in next 24 hours (so some time Saturday they said!)
I hold out little hope of getting a call!
No recrediting of CHAPS fee for me yet!
