No rhyme no reason just KE/ING c**ked up!
  • An ING ad has been popping up on my facebook page for the last few days. i've now given it the thumbs down as misleading. Probably won't register, but it made me feel better.
    CHAPS 8/10 received Halifax 20/10
    BACS 18/11 (£30) (actioned 19/11) received CHAPS Halifax 21/11
    BACS 24/11 (£50) (actioned 25/11) received Halifax 28/11

    Stercus accidit:cool:
  • ING Spokesperson, if you're now at home reading this whilst smugly sipping your wine, think about this, you're going back to work (whenever) to a company that’s a national disgrace

I feel really bad for those of you still waiting for your money, I can't believe it's not there yet after the statements from ING earlier. I was one of the 'lucky' ones to get their cash last Friday (BACS request 6/10, left KE account on 7th, arrived 17th at LloydsTSB).
I still had a chunk of money in my KE account and had just about convinced myself this morning that it was best to leave it there with ING... but reading these recent posts I've decided they can't be trusted with my money so I've transferred it out. Fingers crossed that the money gets through..!
  • Is it just me thinking that ING is being very blase in it's attitude?

I got paid Wednesday and so it seems did quite a lot of other people. Very few people got paid on Thursday or today - those that have done seem to have as a result of 'late' processing by receiving banks. Surely if ING thought about things during the week they should have been doing what they are offering today (dedicated call number & support) to mop-up those that missed out earlier in the week.

KE / ING know when each transfer was initiated. If a customer rings the staff should be able to track the transactions and say 'yes that was sent by us on Wednesday morning so we need to chase this up for you'.

If they were better organised they could have save a 150 people another terrible weekend of worry. God knows how many people have had serious medical conditions exacerbated by this whole sorry saga?

As I have said before the regulators have been pathetic. Whoever decided that the Ombudsman service should have 6 weeks to get a response needs shooting.

Anyway folks I'm absolutely sure you will all get your cash - we are not going to leave you hanging. That's an absolute promise.
