Got the interest for the missing money in my account now. Rang Alastair at Ing customer services as he didn't reply to my email saying they had paid me twice, got an answerphone machine asking me to leave a message after one ring. Rang Ing helpline and they were happy to take my details this time and will be in touch in a couple of days to take it back. She said this was not a unique case.

There is a note on the KE website which says interest for the missing period will be paid by the end of November! Guess what no interest for the missing period has been paid and it's the 30th November! Could you chase this up and see what is happening!

I e-mailed them about this and to be fair they rang me back.. They said that they were aware of the problem of the missing interest (in my case over three weeks) and would be addressing it.

Just got an email from ING saying:

I note that since the last list, posted by Bigg, 2little2late is the only one on the list who has posted to date. I wonder whether others have been paid, I also note that Bigg has asked for an update by midnight tonight.
2little2late I can only imagine the despair you must be feeling after nearly eight weeks and can only again offer you my support, untill you get your money back... when! you do, the string will explode.

We are still waiting for our money after it was bounced back to KE due to an error with the linked account. KE will not even confirm the money is safely sat in a suspense account, let alone credit it back to our account. FOS complaint form completed and next action is to write to local MP and press - I would urge others still waiting to do the same.
We could also consider taking joint legal action against KE to claim compensation for distress - this would certainly get some big press attention and maybe, just maybe, they'll give us our own money back then!0
