They're still not happening normally, it'll be in your account by Monday afternoon.

The money has indeed arrived, only 1wd after the usual 3-day turnaround, which is quite a relief.

Good luck to those who are still in limbo, awaiting their money ... and indeed to those who have decided to keep faith with Kaupthing to take advantage of their decent interest rates.

Is anyone on the list getting closer to resolving their problems?
  • Just a message of support after my situation has resolved itself. Best of luck to get this sorted quickly for those remaining.
CHAPS OUT 7th October > received NATWEST 18th November! :money:

I transfered out by bacs the remaining balance in my KE account last Friday.
It was only a small amount, Chaps fee refund + one weeks interest.
It hit my target account today.

Does not help the remaining people who are still waiting for their capital, but it verifies the system seems to be working normally.
Chaps requested 8th October : money left my account 8th October : £20 chaps fee deducted : destination account Halifax : Chaps fee of 20 re-funded to my KE account 27th October but dated 8th October: On the spreadsheet and received generic e-mail 29th October. Funds paid to my linked account 4th November
  • sorry - posted in error
  • good luck to the remaining 7

I too have stuck more cash in as the account is paying a good rate of interest. Not had any trouble moving cash in or out of my account.

What is their rate for an ordinary savings account these days please?

It's hard to believe 2little2late that you are still waiting almost 2 months down the line. Someone's head must roll for this! Hope you have a resolution SOON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
