  • I'm here too and read the thread every day (although I confess I don't read every posting). In my opinion ING could call a halt to this waiting right now by making payments from their own resources and then reclaiming from the administrators if that's what they say they are waiting for.
Sorry if this has already been suggested.
If they refuse to do this then can they inform each of those waiting of the precise reasons why they cannot proceed? This would then enable individuals to correct anything, provide paperwork etc.and expedite things.
    This seems so simple.
  • I'm here also. I read the thread at least twice a day and want to give my support to everyone still waiting. Hard to comprehend that people are still waiting after such a long time. I must have been lucky because I waited until everything had settled down and withdrew my money by BACS which only took 2 days to reach my account.

I'm still here - I remember how this thread was a life saver for me when my money was 'lost'. I totally agree with the above comment. I can't understand why ING won't pay out then claim the money from administrators, or write it off. I'm sure they have made that sort of money in interest in the time since they took on KE savings.
  • Me too, I haven't posted but I watch the thread everyday, just waiting for the list to get down to zero. I have still got a £700 bacs transfer missing from 25th Sep, but it's because it had the wrong sort code on, but I last spoke to them last week, and I am on the "spreadsheet list".

Even if the sort code was wrong, you still wouldn't expect it to take TWO MONTHS to sort it out. Surely a sign of an organisation in chaos!

Hope you hear something really soon bm - I wonder how many names are on the "spreadsheet list"?

I'm with you on this one ontherun and I agree that some of our supporters from a few weeks ago have gone; however I feel that many of them may be lurking but it would be nice of them to let those not yet paid know that support still exists!

Surely this delay in giving people back their own money can't go on much longer, at least I hope not!

I suppose in reality when you have been paid you are not so passionate about logging on everyday to vent your anger! and to see what is going on.
However I am still here and will offer my support untill all money is refunded and Bigg gets his bottle of bubbly  Lets hope its in time for Christmas for everyones sake.
Chaps requested 8th October : money left my account 8th October : £20 chaps fee deducted : destination account Halifax : Chaps fee of 20 re-funded to my KE account 27th October but dated 8th October: On the spreadsheet and received generic e-mail 29th October. Funds paid to my linked account 4th November
  • ..i'm here regularly.....reading...but not posting.....to keep forum clear for other important posters.......

...don't let the illegitimate ones grind you down....
  • Just a note of encouragement for the few remaining members still waiting for their money. There are many of us still following this thread and will continue to do so until the bitter end as a token of support.

    Best wishes to all.

I'm still here as well with the silent support, just not pressing "refresh" just as often as before, but the spirit's still with the last of the gang.

Once you're all sorted we'll all get together again to fight for the missing interest.

    Soon........

And to make sure ING suffer the consequences for their appalling behaviour by lodging as many complaints as we possibly can.
They simply must not be allowed to get away with this!!!

Good luck to those of you still waiting!!
  • Update from my earlier note. [FONT=&quot]15 phone calls, two emails and a complaint lodged with FOS I am still £10k out of pocket which was originally set for BACS transfer to my A&L linked account 15-10-08. Nobody knows anything and I have lost count of the number of team leaders, managers, head office staff and administrators that are returning my phone call and do not. If I ever receive my money I will be closing the account, already done the ING one that I had. I do not care that KE are in administration nor the problems they are having, I have a mortgage to pay and it would have been quicker for one of their staff to get off their backside and personally deliver the cash to my A&L account rather than it bouncing around the electronic world only to be returned four times and counting….:mad::mad::mad::mad:

  • Me too...I'm still here checking in daily. I said I would stick around to offer any support I can and that's exactly what I'll do until this fiasco draws to an end.
I have to agree with Katybull86's post that the few still waiting must have a unique specific problem with their accounts. Although it's nowhere near a good enough reason for it not to have been identified and rectified by now.

** SHAME ON YOU ING **
    2 accounts:-
    1/ BACS requested 7th -left KE 8th - funds received Fri 17th
    2/ CHAPS requested 7th - left KE 8th - funds received Thurs 30th Oct.
    CHAPS fees returned 27.10.08
