Have received 2 phone calls from Peter at MSE Helpline today - head office are apparently making changes this evening and I should be able to try to put through the transaction (by BACS) again tomorrow.

UPDATE: MONDAY 17TH NOVEMBER

Further to our update of Thursday 23rd October, we continue to experience difficulties with outgoing CHAPS and therefore have withdrawn this service until we can be satisfied that all issues have been identified and resolved. In the meantime all withdrawals will go via the BACS system; BACS transfers typically take three working days, and our cut off is at 2.00pm. Any withdrawal requests made after this time or on a weekend will not start until the following working day. We are continuing to work on interest refunds for customers affected by delays and these will be credited to accounts by the end of November.

Just to let you know my wife's (MrsEddie123)transfer from the 8th October has just arrived !!!!!!!!
Hope this gives the last few some hope.
