New Kaupthing CHAPS/BACS Transfers discussion - Friday 24th October

You guys might be interested in my appalling dealings with Kaupthing in the last 7 days.

I tried to transfer out my substantial savings last Tuesday (11th Nov). I am still waiting for it to hit my bank account.

I have been fobbed off so many times by their call centre. I am completely fed - up. They dont know what has happened, blame the Adminsitrators and say they dont know what is going on.

What can I do

I received an old and crusty CHAPS payment today.

I would like to say a big big thankyou to bigg and all the others for sticking their oar in. It seems as though this has finally come to an end..... I think I might celebrate and put the heating on!

Welcome to the madhouse, money IP! I think you need to read back a few pages and then get yourself put on the list which is currently held by bigg. Your only consolation is that you're not alone, though you are now joining a fairly select band as the majority of us have now been paid. The bad news is that for some people that has taken 6 weeks or more!

You need to phone the ING MSE helpline, the number is on the bottom of bigg's last list e-mail.

Was meant to receive a phone call from "head office" today but never got a call. However I did receive the CHAPS payment finally!

Still waiting for my money (over 10k)... withdrawal requested by CHAPS on 7th November, informed it would be processed by BACS but still not received more than ten days later. Phoned KE and was told they would get back to me this evening, of course they haven't, will be phoning the MSE helpline tomorrow... :mad:
