Just called KE, they say that HQ has informed them that they plan to transfer my funds into my KE account by COB (5-6pm) Friday.

I had tried to CHAPs money into my KE account on 8 Oct. Of course numerous other promised deadlines have come and gone so nothing is certain but its an advance on " we have no idea whatsoever which was the message yesterday.

Has anyone else who had problems transferring money into their account been given a similar deadline?

Beachy, which bank are you with ? I am with HSBC and the transfer I mentioned earlier in this thread (transfer made on friday after 2 pm but actioned on monday) has arrived in my current account within the past hour. As other people have mentioned, ING still don't seem to be able to pay things normally and although I requested the transfer by BACS, it arrived as CHAPS ! :beer:

Mine too - requested Monday morning as BACS payment, arrived sometime between 3 and 3.30 today as OUTWARD PAYMENTS which I think is CHAPS.

My linked account is also with HSBC

I'm with Lloyds TSB and I've just checked my account and the money has just been credited, phew what a relief! Many thanks to the fellow Moneysavers for the advice. :beer:
