New Kaupthing CHAPS/BACS Transfers discussion - Friday 24th October

VERY IMPORTANT UPDATEAfter a bit of back and forth with ING, we have managed to arrange something that i dearly dearly hope will finish off the last outstanding transfers; a dedicated team looking after MSE Kaupthingers.
ING have agreed to the following:
If you are still having trouble with your Kaupthing Edge payment then phone 08451 31 32 34 and ask to speak to the MSE Helpline. This is being manned by senior staff that will urgently review your case and follow it through and keep you updated until payment is made.
So basically, call up and ask for the MSE Helpline. We have been told - and will chase up to make sure this happens - that a member of staff will take on your case and provide you with regular updates on your specific case.
So please please please do this, and also we need to get this message to all Kaupthingers that are still waiting for cash but amybe arent monitoring this thread.
All feedback on how this system goes is very welcome - fingers crossed it works

I was one of those too.
This thread is viewed by ING spokesperson. I'd like to hope that anyone else that encounters a problem will still feel comfortable with contributing to this thread hence my comment.
Although not the case now, it was looking as though a repeat of 7/10 was taking place.0 -
Sorry to post this again - it was at the very bottom of a page and I thinkit may get missed - it is very important everyone still waiting does this

Just to add that the transfer I posted about this morning has arrived in. So that's 4 working days, which is fine.
I also accept KatyBull's point about this thread originally intended to be for those who transferred out in October and are still waiting so sorry if anyone feels like I've added to the hijacking. Good luck to those of you still waiting.0 -
Sorry for all those still waiting, I remember how it felt but now they have paid me twice.
Make them wait five weeks to get it back:TChaps requested 8th October : money left my account 8th October : £20 chaps fee deducted : destination account Halifax : Chaps fee of 20 re-funded to my KE account 27th October but dated 8th October: On the spreadsheet and received generic e-mail 29th October. Funds paid to my linked account 4th November0 -

I thought that the purpose of this thread was to provide information and support to those people who requested withdrawals around the time of the collapse and have still not seen their money. Many of these are suffering severe hardships as a result of these long delays and continue to benefit from our support.
I have some understanding of those with more recent transfers who, having read this thread, are becoming paranoid about it, but IMHO maybe this is a topic for a new thread, rather than clouding the issue we are really trying to address.
I also note that there are several posts concerning loss of interest and refunds of CHAPS fees. There is already a separate thread for this topic in this forum, which perhaps a more appropriate place for these.-

Regulars on this thread will, I hope, recognise me as a genuinely concerned member, will understand my point and will not start raising a Troll Alert on me.
Cheers

Hi folks,
If you could also post on here whether you have called the number and asked for the MSE helpline, that would be fab. and Bigg, if you don't mind recording that along with other info, carrying on the sterling work you've done so far, that'd be fantastic!
