Just tried the helpline and put through to a chap called Peter Dennis. Seemed helpfull! Said he would call me back on Monday. Thanks again for all your hard work guys. My sig has been ammended...

Called the MSE helpline this morning spoke to Jennifer a deputy team leader who took all details again and promised to get back to me today or Monday/Tuesday.

I knew there were problems with new fixed term deposits, but why has this made the news and not the fact that they're still clasping people's money?

There was a brief discussion on Working Lunch about KE customers. They said the main problem is the interaction between ING and E&Y, which could take months before they get it running smoothly.

ING said they have cleared umpteen thousand transfers but there are only 100 left and these will be cleared within a few days.

Nothing new there then. I just hope our list turns to dust shortly.
