"Have gotten hold of ING and they will be posting a message for the savers who haven't yet received their transfers in a little while (He was just driving home)."
What happened to that?
He said he would post when he got home - fraid I've no knowledge of how long his commute is. Yet he (as an individual) has always delivered when he said so - so give him a little time.
Again please PM me anyone in dire straits without the money (by that I mean it will cause a CCJ/mortgage arrear type thing)Martin Lewis, Money Saving Expert.

Thanks Martin from all of us still waiting, perhaps I will get my Icesave savings back before my KE savings then:rotfl:
Still not broke my sense of humour.......... just chipping away at it;)
I really did think that everyone would be 'sorted' by Friday (today). I'm horrified to think that some people are having their third weekend of worry (I had two).
I wonder if there are any solicitors out there who have the KE problems? Could they suggest the next step - because waiting doesn't seem to help. Maybe some official legal pressure on ING would get them to sort it fully and quickly.
Thinking of you all and will do anything I can to support those still waiting.0 -

Have you had any contact or confirmation that ING are aware of your transaction?Has ANYBODY had any confirmation from ING about transactions made on the 7th or early 8th? Have they given you any proof that they have been or are being processed?0 -
The previous Kaupthing Edge Chaps Transfers thread's been closed (its too long for the servers and the sitution's changed). This is a continuation.
Hi guys,
Today is the day that ING has said the final bunch of payments should start to be appearing in people's destination accounts. I have started this new thread and poll to make it easier to keep track of the people who are left to receive their cash. There is also a new statement from ING, which I have reproduced below. However, the most exciting aspect is a dedicated customer services telephone line for anyone still waiting for money to call, it's 0845 131 32 34.
Here is the full statement from 11am today
The Basics
The internet savings bank Kaupthing Edge was transferred, via the government, a fortnight ago from its Icelandic parent bank Kaupthing to Dutch bank ING Direct. In the days prior to the transfer, due to the fears over Icelandic banks many people activated BACS (normal bank transfers) or CHAPS (supposedly instant/same day) transfers from Kaupthing Edge, to withdraw their money. In a large number of cases while the money left the account it didn't arrive anywhere. This thread is here to help and discuss people getting their money back.-
Detailed Background: See the original Kaupthing Edge Chaps Transfers discussion, and the second one from earlier this week

Well it's now the 24th October the date when my money should have been in my line account. and guess what? I haven't received. This is getting ridiculous and I am concerned about my money. I've also reported the non receipt on Wednesday (I've now been told my the representative today that no investigation could have taken place so early, but yet the rep on wednesday took all my details). I've now been told it will now be investigated and I will be contacted in 2 working days.0 -

It's not all of the transactions from that period, it's some as some of us in that timeframe have got our money back. The pattern is that, seemingly, some CHAPS (mostly) transactions initiated between start of business 7th and start of business the 8th are those that have not yet arrived.CHAPS 8th Oct Rec'd 20th Lloyds TSB0 -
Just wanted to say how gutted i am for those of you still waiting! I was hoping there was going to be plenty of good news today! However judging by ING's previous promises I should have known better than to trust what they say! I will be taking over the list from northernstar5 at 7.30pm so if you have not received your money please PM me and I will add you to the list of non receivers! Will repost the list at 7.30pm.
At this point I would like to say a very heart felt thanks to tmvc2007 and northernstar5 for collating the list dont know where we would be without it!
Youve both done a sterling job!CHAPS 8th received 20th into HSBC A/CBACS on the 17th and 20th received 22nd into HSBC A/CCHAPS fee refunded 29/10I can survive any crisis - I have kids!!0 -

Just to say I'm really sorry to read people still haven't got their money back yet. We've been on the phone many times a day to ING and i had hoped everyone would be sorted.
We're not giving up. We will continue to do our best... to try and speed this along. Not much can be done over the weekend though..
Not sure what more to say - i hope this will all be finished on monday. Try and have a nice weekend.
One bit of good news if any of you have Icesave money too - the compensation system has been done for that.
Martin
Absolutely no need to be sorry Martin. I have every faith that you & Dan have been working effortlessly on behalf of your members. I don't know how far up the chain this "ING Spokesperson" is but beginning to think that it's a pompus, patronising salesman/woman nominated to spiel any old garbage out. - In effect, leading everyone (Including you) right up the garden path!Non illigitamus carborundum!!0 -

No, I did mine between 7.30-8.00am on the 8th by CHAPS and mine turned up on Monday afternoon, so that can't be right. Unless, KE were using GMT and not British Summer Time that is, in which case it would really have been 8.30-9.00am, wouldn't it?
i'm confused. Would it have been 6.30-7.00am GMT?CHAPS 8/10 received Halifax 20/10
BACS 18/11 (£30) (actioned 19/11) received CHAPS Halifax 21/11
BACS 24/11 (£50) (actioned 25/11) received Halifax 28/11

Hi -just back from Aldi. Quick check down my list - most of the outstanding transactions are from 7th and 8th. I'll pass on all this info to hometune It may take me a bit of time to get that info to her - at present it's handwritten because I was so sure there would only be a very people left without money now.
Am in process of producing 7.30 up date and will post it asap.KE veteran - life seemed so much simpler then!0
