    We're just a bunch of rather annoying, embarrassing, inconvienient statistics I think. Certainly not people that have enough problems to cope with without another dark cloud to hang over us. Whose head will be rolling I wonder for losing 'the list'?? Or will it be put down to electronic error.....they have obviously never experienced the worry of essential money lost in the ether and no-one accepting the blame.

    It won't give you your money Lesley53....but you have lots of shoulders to lean on here. Take care of yourself...

    I am so sorry to hear that Lesley, you must be at the end of your tether trying to deal with everything. I am sure your money will arrive today. We are all keeping our fingers crossed for you and wish you well :grouphug:
  • Just checked in expecting this to be over now and unbelievably still 30+ people still not received THEIR money

    I'm so sorry for the people still waiting and although this is not excusable ING, I'm sure you will have your money soon. I waited more than 3 weeks and did many times (particularly around 4.00am) feel I would never see my money returned.

    I have been with ING since they started in the UK but as soon as everything's running smoothly the whole lot get's shut down.
    And as for the Dutch passport scheme - could be as much value to UK customers as the Icelandic scheme.

    Clearly these guys do not have a clue and worse do not care!

    I do hope somebody out there has enough influence to get this Fiasco media attention!

  • For anyone not yet reading back the last couple of pages, Posts 2404 and 2405 have info from Alistair Hemmings re the current situation. Fingers crossed (again!)

    Lesley53 I know it's difficult but keep positive. We're all here supporting you.

    Put this on the back burner for now, your energy is required elsewhere and be sure to accept that you will get your money back.

    I have emailed the Sunday Times, Alastair Hemmings, Maggie at E & Y. Just hope someone is going to sort this out soon. KE are ringing me back at 4.30 but of course the money didn't go in.

    After reading this I really wish I could swap places with some of you still waiting here. If I could I would.

    It all seems so unfair.

    Chaps requested 8th October : money left my account 8th October : £20 chaps fee deducted : destination account Halifax : Chaps fee of 20 re-funded to my KE account 27th October but dated 8th October: On the spreadsheet and received generic e-mail 29th October. Funds paid to my linked account 4th November
