Basically, no. No funds move over the weekend (except for faster payments, but even they are technically pending).
ING are now settling missing payments by SWIFT, which should take 2 days to clear - and will only start showing in the afternoon of the (working) day they are cleared
My money was paid via swift and I was told it would be 2 working days but it arrived the next day.
I've also noticed that all the money starts to come in around 2.30pm so hang in there!2 accounts:-
1/ BACS requested 7th -left KE 8th - funds received Fri 17th
2/ CHAPS requested 7th - left KE 8th - funds received Thurs 30th Oct.
CHAPS fees returned 27.10.08

The majority of posters on this thread have ‘lost’ a lot of money for up to 4 weeks, Lost meaning .. Missing .. Not having access to it
I’m sure posters “feel confident enough in its safety to leave it there for the time being” butduring the 4 week period, I personally have had no choice but to do just that! During those 4 weeks ING has needed a cash injection by the Dutch Government, doesn’t make me feel any more comfortable
On P61 of this weeks Investors Chronicle there’s an article by the resident Q&A editor regarding ING (and she would NOT save with them) that states reclaiming money from the Dutch compensation scheme could/would take up to 1 YEAR
Even if ING’s handling was more seamless, I wont be leaving my money with them and that’s my choice!
Good luck to everyone for today/tomorrow because its been an appalling period for us all0 -

I found that really informative Zaphod as I was wondering whether to put my Icesave ISA's into ING when they are refunded. Just thought it would be the easiest thing to do as I already have a couple of ISA's with ING.
Good luck for today!0 -
Back from Half term break in sunny Devon (hmmm!) to find our missing money finally in our linked account. CHAPS fee refunded and an email promising that the interest will be paid. Off to buy a few thousand lottery tickets ;-)
God luck to anyone who is still waiting, I'm pretty sure it is only a matter of time. Once bitten, twice shy, as Zaphod said above our dosh stays on the island in future.0 -
Things are happening. CHAPS transfer made on 8th Oct. Arrived 21st Oct in nominated account less £20 fee. Today fee plus missing interest credited back to Kaupthing A/C. I am sure it will all get sorted for everyone and you won't lose out apart from inconvenience, inaccessibility and worry, though that is enough.0

Hi folks...
Just got a note from the sunday times saying the story was too late for its deadlines, but it hopes to run it next week. Fingers crossed there won't be a story by then!

Hi, I don't think interest on mssing money has been paid yet. The only interest being paid is on the funds in your account for the last month. The interest paid to me in KE certainly does not equate to nearly 3 weeks of interest on my lost £10K.....still to arrive in my linked account.
I'd check carefully.CHAPS requested 10 Oct, left KE 15 Oct, finally arrived 18.00, 4th Nov0
