New Kaupthing CHAPS/BACS Transfers discussion - Friday 24th October

Kaupthing Edge told me on Monday that my 33k + interest had just been sent to me by bacs that same day and would be in my nominated bank account by today (Thursday). It wasn't shown as pending this morning so I rang them and they then said that it wasn't sent and that it would appear in my instant savngs account (later today or tomorrow) and be available for a bacs transfer, which I should do myself.

I have asked for confirmation of this in writing as I just do not trust them now, I first requested my money on 7th October, they are a joke

GREAT NEWS!!! for those recieved their money today! It gives me hope for myself. Can't wait to get onto the 'happy' forum and r-e-l-a-x.

The thing thats makes me most anxious is the Friday afternoon deadline again. And not so surprising after all our Friday promises in previous weeks.
Thank goodness for the forum to keep me sane and centred. I'd be a wreck without it.

Hi guys,

Been reading for a while but i thought i'd register now considering i'm part of this. Been through most of what's already been said (few phone calls, got the crappy emails etc.)

I'm still waiting for over £9000 worth of savings from KE, all the money i have and have ever had.

I missed everything yesterday because I was filming.

Whats the latest in this horrible situation, how many people are still without cash. I intend to get back on the phone myself again today to see if there's anything that can be done.
