I've been watching this thread since I got my money 10 days ago but stayed out of it to keep the background noise to a minimum.

This might sound a bit flippant but has anyone who has a recognised delayed payment (i.e. a specific amount that ING knows should go to a specific person) asked them just to cancel it and send them a cheque? It's probably a long shot but their refusal to do that would show the extent to which they were willing to show any goodwill to the people who are still waiting.

I'm sure they could do that it they wanted to........If the number of outstanding transactions is now a very small percentage, why don't they just pay them by cheque and sort it out at their leisure with the administrators?

Come on ING, it's time to stop the BS and just pay up. Why should depositors be funding the administrative delays of your take over of KE? You must have known what the issues could be when you took it on. You are, after all, a huge bank so can't argue with any credibility that "it's a bit more complicated than we thought"

Then again I think you have pretty much exhausted your credibility at this point so maybe you can....

Just had another chat with ING, getting the same info as they posted last night.

Want to check something though - is there anyone missing money from transfers that were NOT made on 6 or 7 October? Those are the ones that are still in the backlog, according to ING - so if there are any outside that period it'd be really interesting to know.

The list is with theFury now. I'm pretty certain when hometune had it there were some in the backlog from outside those dates.

Hi Dan,

I initiated by CHAPS tranfer on the evening of the 7th, but it is showing online as having been actioned on the 8th.

yes I made a transfer by BACS on 7/10 but also a CHAPS transfer on 8/10 and neither have been received .
