Hi all
I've been watching from the sidelines for a couple of days to avoid clogging the thread of what I had hoped would be a massive string of happy posts. Instead, I've been seeing people getting more and more angry (understandably) at the continuing debacle. It does appear, however, that in general over the last couple of weeks KE/ING/Administrators/Clearing Bank have been giving priority to clearing the backlog of straightforward cases but are now able to focus their efforts on individual cases where there is some kind of "irregularity" (AKA C***k-up on their part) and sort them out one by one. There is absolutely no excuse for the way they've handled it or their appalling lack of customer care, but maybe the end really is nigh now and people and their money will indeed all be reunited by the weekend. (Maybe that was a flying pig I just saw??)
Anyway, Just to let you all know I'll be sticking around to see the outcome and join in the celebrations in the other thread once the list is empty (good job by the way to all the list keepers:T)

Well it could be me (but isn't)! However it is exactly my situation.
We need to understand what difference in status we have compared to those that are apparently being paid this week.
On the face of it we were all caught in the same broad situation where a transfer was taking place in the period between going into administration and being transferred to ING
The email we got, containing the word 'Regrettably' has a lengthy footer regarding the Administrators and naming various acting individuals.
So the email although from "Customer Service KE" appears actually to be from the administrators. So is it ING or the KE administrators that is saying our money is safe?0 -
Got the "standard email" today. you know the blah blah blah one.. :mad:0

PS..It was a real eye opener for me, how much support you can get from an internet forum- esp when we are all in the same (leaky) boat!Debt-free...and staying that way...0
