SORRY everyone for being gloomy in my last couple of posts. The important message for anyone left here today is that our money is safe and it's only a matter of time.

Don't mean to be a downer - but I've just checked back and SteepPip's was a fixed term account that had to be broken and moved into KE instant account. It only left KE instant account earlier this week.

Gosh I feel terrible posting this info - but maybe this explains why these two have got money and no one else has as yet

Just off the phone to KE at 08451 31 32 34. I spoke with Samantha and she took me through security and quoted my a/c no. to me. This is the first time that I've been able to speak to anyone about my specific situation and I must say that I feel reassured, temporarily at least. I'm told that my transfer details will be looked at to see if there any problems with them and if there are I will be contacted by phone or email within 2 working days.
I feel that the end is nigh!!!

I agree with you TheCaretaker, I know my money should be safe but I am sure you agree with me, that I cannot rest until I see it.

CHAPS to Lloydstsb on 7/10.Left KE on 8/10. Still nothing as of now :-( £20 deducted at time of transfer from KE acc (had left £100 in KE)

Thank you for replying to me, MadBill. I wasn't asking if Ing was safe to go with but I guess I am concerned that it is, of course. I appreciate your explanation.

I have still not received my money so i phoned the number given on the update..O845 131 32 34.. I got through to a very polite lady who imformed me that
1)payments were being sent by Chaps
2) there were a small number who were having problems and that they were compiling a list, to be sent to ING, someone would ring me in the next 48 hours to tell me what was happening.

She took my postcode and then took me through security. She then went into my account and we acknowledged how much money i had and when it had been transfered. For the first time in three weeks i actually got to discuss my account, instead of being a generic customer.

Finally she gave me a query ref number and said that it could still turn up today.. Although i have yet to receive my money i do feel a little better now regarding the whole situation.

This may have already been posted, if so sorry for the repetition, my money, and my wife's, which arrived last Friday, was transferred by Telegraphic Transfer. We both received notification of this from our respective banks. As neither of us have ever had these letters before we assume that it is unusual, perhaps not subject to the usual time restrictions.
