ah well if i get virus or whatever ill just reinstall the whole puter from dvds. i usually wind up having to do that once a year anyway stupid windows system.
    Amen.
    did someone mention valerian somewhere?
That would be...for some odd reason... Unity. Whilst I understand the reasoning, the stench would just be FAR too much for me.

(OH has this nasty and very annoying habit of only being able to actually get up after at least an hour of annoying, frequent and varying alarm trills )

i have that annoying habit too (well when im sleeping that is) if i have to be somewhere in a morning i have to remember to email my sister at work the evening before so she remembers to ring me, the phone is more likely to make me wake up than alarm clocks, of whihc i have 6 placed at various points so i have to get out of bed and find them to make them be quiet...and i still manage to not remember turning them off or crawling under the bed and unplugging them (which is not an easy task).

Ha! The only time I've ventured to sampling worcestershire sauce I was bitterly disappointed...it was just cheese on toast that had been violated IMHO.
Oh dear... you'll be telling me next that you don't like Marmite.

Oh no, Marmite's a completely different animal. I have to be in the mood for it, but it's tasty when I am. It's great in gravys too :D

    Grim.

I knew there was a reason I didn't have cats.

20years? You sure someone didn't swop her out while you weren't looking? :p
I can understand why people have cats, and they're cute and all... I just don't think I could be bothered with the faff. But then I feel like that about most things these days

  • nope she hasnt been swapped :) we got her as a fully grown adult cat when i was about 10, and i brought her over here with me in my 2nd year at uni....best guess is she is at least 26.

but i agree the faff is annoying, my friend ahs developed a sudden interest in learnign how to clena litter trays, one i am all to keen to encourage.

Ok, so I have a question. When you're in the shower, for instance, and you're washing your face, for instance, and you have to close your eyes... do you have the most horrible feeling that you're falling? I have to reach my hands out and press them against the wall to get some semblance of where upright is (iykwim). I have to say it freaks me out somewhat...
