(Thanks, I thought so)
I actually do paint though - so in true MSE style, if anyone fancies buying some, and therefore aiding my dwindling - & rather attacked - wedding fund, please feel free to make me an offer"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
Wandered?! Took a significant detour as far as I can see! a nice amusing and friendly one though
Dad was pretty good thanks for asking. Just picked up 4 new chickens - rehoming ex-battery hens. Can't wait to get to know them  - I'm a lover of any type of animal.
He did say that he wanted a quiet word with me at some point about something that I normally get annoyed at him about. I bet it's about the expense of fitting dishwasher in rented flat, but as s/e said - it's my home! He seems to think that I should somehow be able to magically buy somewhere to live and doesn't seem to realise that I only have IB and use money that my late Mum left me to live on. If I put that money towards buying a house, how on earth am I supposed to meet living expenses, let alone have any quality of life
and breathe .......
Understand what you're saying about a cold kitchen - lived somewhere like that once and the kitchen sucked all the heat out of the rest of the flat.
Have recorded an old episode of "How clean is your house" to watch next week as it tends to make me get up off my @rseand do some housework.
Watched a tape of my Nephew today. He's 16 and profoundly autistic. He was playing the piano and so beautifully. This was the child the specialists said would never learn to talk. I got all emotional and sobbed for ages. So now I'm generally very soggy and hard to light.
Back later my lovelies when I've mopped myself up

p.s. Bring oon the warped humour - love it!
p.p.s. Extra o just for you s/e. You can keep it for emergencies :rolleyes:I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

Just heard a cracking line on the radio.
"George doesn't have a memory, he has a forgettory".
If I can remember it beyond the next half hour or so, I might pinch that at some time.s/e0 -

I've already made a pact with OH that he can have dogs... on the basis that he does all the cleaning up after their accidents and such. I don't mind doling out the love and getting the snuggles on the couch though, of course
He actually went for it! And it even came into effect when I was dog-sitting my ex's white Alsation! Did I land on my feet or what??Careful_with_that_Axe wrote: »He seems to think that I should somehow be able to magically buy somewhere to live and doesn't seem to realise that I only have IB and use money that my late Mum left me to live on. Ooer! Just tried to post the above, and got a tiny wrist slapping telling me my message wasn't long enough.
That must be the first time I've been 'told off' for not gabbing enough!
