I know what you mean about it being public too. Turns out my big sister has tracked me down on here and worked out what my psuedonym is lol. Good job I've not slagged her off yet eh? Bless her, she saw this forum and wanted to find out a bit more about it all so she could understand better. Can't blame her for that

Please nobody talk about food. Twice this week I've stocked up on things to have in the house that are easy to make (like butty stuff)... only to have been cleaned out in one sitting by dearest darling OH! :rolleyes:

Stupid fibrofog prevented me from remembering the chiller items I'd bought, thus they didn't make it to the freezer/fridge until I spotted them one-by-one every time I've gone in the kitchen for something over the last 24hrs! Oops.

Oh yes. I use another forum, and a poster there has recognised me here. Even the internet has become a small world.

Oh, yes, again. Done that a few times recently. Fortunately, my kitchen has been so cold the past couple of months, it's not been much warmer that my fridge. Although I wasn't prepared to risk the cream I'd bought...

Ditto! The kitchen is an unheated, uninsulated, extention of the house... once food actually does get into the fridge it gets frozen!

The real problem is there being no tone of voice or facial expressions to go by. And I know that I've got a warped sense of humour that not everyone shares. I suspect you might have a similar one. I tend to go with the phrase, if I open my mouth a bit wider I'll be able to get the other foot in it as well.
