Oh lord raeh - have you been overdoing it? Hope you're feeling better soon and let us know what the GP says.
Did the Birthday go well? I bet you got all over excited at the thought of jelly and ice cream and that's what made you go all feak and weeble.
Am going to have an unusual early night tonight mainly coz I'm bored rigid.
Tarra folks

No... really... give em s/ecan someone remind me what the actual 'on' topic was??? i think i was lost way back an about page 10 :rolleyes:iv never thought about it that way before but its probably totally right
Maybe I'll just stick to the "both theories have their merits" argument...?hello to everyone  looks like you have all had a fun day todayfar too much for me to remember everything i should be replying to
i fainted last night in the bathroom.. i went up to get washed and suddenly had tingles all over my body and arms and could feel everything going grey, i landed on the floor and was all cold and sweaty. Im seeing the gp tomorrow so its yet something else to add to the ever growing list of things i want to ask her aboutHope you're feeling better today and didn't damage yourself in the fall...?
I do stuff like that sometimes, but usually I manage to land back on the bed/chair/stairs or OH catches me. Phewf.
It's a bit annoying actually, as they've asked me in the DWP medical examination things and on the forms whether I've fainted and when I say not quite, I've always managed to sit down or whatever quick enough they look at me like I'm a loon...or making it up :mad:i hate monday mornings  but then if i stayed in bed all day monday it would be tuesdays i hated :rotfl:"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -

My CBT therapist suggested that rather than me being in more pain when I'm more tired, that maybe I'm more tired when I'm in more pain...s/e0

Fingers crossed that it's either a one-off or it's something easily rectified.s/e0 -

Hi Raeh,
How's your BP? It often happens with low BP which I used to have but then although I often used to feel faint - everything turning black etc. I have only actually fainted a few times - each time it indicated I was pregnant, so is there anything you'd like to tell us?;);)

Hi folks ,
Well, I made the decoction of Valerian and Marshmallow yesterday morning, let it steep all day and last night DH filtered it for me and added honey to make it a little more palatable. It was rank  - smelt like old socks and probably tasted the same although I don't make a habit of stewing old socks and drinking the produce (I could do with a vomiting smilie but this will have to do) _pale_. I can still taste the stuff this morning and that's after two cups of strong tea!
Anyway - I have to report that I had a terrible night, I couldn't get to sleep for hours, which isn't normally a problem. Then I spent the rest in the alternate reality of a featherless pelican farm - where three women were curled up in a bunk bed in the pelican/hen house knitting......... Were they the Norns, I ask myself? The female pelicans couldn't fly, and so were pulling their featherless bodies up the sides of the bunk bed by beak and wing to perch and the clacking of their beaks was really quite annoying! The farmers were awaiting the return of a male pelican (these could fly, but couldn't land) which had to be caught mid-flight by a man on great long stilts. He caught the bird in a rugby tackle and did a remarkable back flip that sent him a mile down the road and I remember wondering how on earth he would land . The pelican eggs were the prized produce and I was given a box of these as I was leaving, but one rolled under the car only to be pounced on by the farm dogs.
I woke up sweating, with a sore throat, aching all over - so what's new?
Now, has anyone been watching the Horizon series (BBC2 Tuesdays 9 p.m.) that started last week? It's a group of ten people at Hever Castle - five of whom have had mental illness of some sort, including OCD, Anorexia and Depression and the experts have to work out who is who. I was discussing this with DH and pondering that with so many peculiarities in this world is anyone (least of all me) actually sane?;)
DH thinks it may be worth trying the decoction for another couple of nights and I've never been one to give up at the first hurdle so I'll keep you posted - even though you may not be remotely interested :rotfl:.Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. I tried the old chinese herbals for a while, there was a slight improvement in my symptoms, but quite frankly it wasn't enough for me to have to put up with spending most of the day trying not to throw the whole lot back up again. Now, has anyone been watching the Horizon series (BBC2 Tuesdays 9 p.m.) that started last week?
