I used to be on Seroxat (back when they thought all my problems were depression based ) and I don't even want to go into the problems I had with it, but I just wanted to give you a word of warning about it.
Thanks for the warning, so far I haven't had any problems with Prozac and I've been on it for a few years, although I do wonder sometimes if it is working  - but I suppose it is better the devil you know.
Urgh, clove oil! _pale_ That's another one of those smells I can't deal with!
Funny isn't it - it's one of the few upsides to winter for me - having the house smell like Christmas :xmastree:.I would too!
And I have no idea how you can even contemplate taking the decoction again... it sounded truly revolting and has already made you feel sick all day ... all I can say is, you're a braver person than me!!
I guess it's because I am desperate, not brave, I would just love to go to bed just once without the fear of monsters, confusion, anxiety and all the other little emotional nuances that I can't even begin to categorise but which haunt me for most of the following day. I don't mind coping with pain, one can just steel oneself against it to a certain extent - but it's the feelings of not having any control over what happens to me when I'm asleep that scares the bejeezus out of me
.
Everyone has their burden to bear though, it'll be different things that loom large for different people, which is the curious thing about this disease there are lots of similarities - but lots of differences too. Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever

Unity - that drink sounds vile, your braver than me, although Id be more worried if it worked if I was you, then you'd be forced to keep drinking the stuff
Yelowrock - I am going to do some distance healing when Ive finished this post and will add you to my list. Do you go to college to do your courses or are the home lutor courses ? Id love to learn some more but dont think Id manage going to college and the home ones are too expensive.
Raeh - I hope you didnt hurt yourself when you fainted and that your doctor can find out the cause without too many tests.
Cwta - I had a 6 week accuncpture course with a physio at my local hospital. It didnt help at all.
Im just coming off Lyrica as it hasnt helped either excpet to make me more foggy than ever, Im seeing my Rheumi on Wednesday and going to ask if theres anything else out there that I havnt tried yet.

My reflexology I did as a course of one weekend a month at a local reflexology private school- which was quite expensive, the rest I have done either as day courses at college or with the flower remedies - distance learning. Once I had got my reflexology it was easier to 'add' other therapies on as I had the anatomy and physiology qualification, which helps a great deal for short courses adding to your portfolio.
Thanks for the distance healing - have a cracking headache today! But been in a hot hospital out patients this afternoon so that prob not helped it. Saw the endocrinologist for my low blood sugar symptoms - maybe reactive hypoglycaemia, so got to follow a low gi diet and eat every 2 hours during the day! Also my gp had done a full blood screen and failed to mention my liver function test being abnormal, consultant wants to rule out anything sus there so was punctured again!!

Little tip - if you can remember it. If you write a long post, highlight it and then use ctrl+c to copy it. Then if the interwebulator swallows your post, all you have to do is bring up a new reply box and use ctrl+v to paste it again.
Or use word or similar to type it up, then paste it into the reply box.s/e0 -

The other thing you can do if the system logs you out during a long post is to log back in and then hit the back button (I think it's about three times) until you get back to the page with the blue box including your reply. If you then hit the submit button again it will process :T.
I hope i explained that properly - if anyone doesn't get what I mean just shout and I'll try and think of another way to put it. At least I know what I mean :rotfl:.Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever

somebody_else i do think everything is just put down to fibro and today she made me feel like a complete nuisance when she said lets see what we can give you that you havent already tried.
s/e the 2nd part, about 8 years ago i wouldnt really accept the diagnosis and didnt stop anything, i had 2 small children and the house and pets and work and one day i just collapsed and couldnt get back up. i had about a year where i couldnt walk more than a few steps and it was awfulbit by bit i got better by pacing myself and accepting theres loads i cant do. I managed to get back to work part time 3 years ago and have been ok?! since until now when i can feel myself falling back again so thank you for the advice and it is heeded
