Hi all, yes the g/c each belong to both of my sons and their partners lol
Roxsi - aawww I love the pic of your cat cookie, my dog Diamond lies beside me on the sofa, when I have the laptop on my lap she tries to rest her head on the keyboard and I have to give up whatever I'm doing.
cwta - Im so sorry about your radiator disaster, I hope it gets sorted soon its the wrong time of yea to be without heat isnt it.
BZ - I hope your dog is fine now, that was an expensive box of chocolates !
DH couldnt understand why the outside lights wouldnt work earlier, some b******d had cut the wire

Gawd suep, who on earth would do that?!
Roxsi, how sweet is your little purr baby! My cat isn't a fan of the puter as it's always on my lap when she wants to be. So she sits and looks at me sending me subliminal thoughts. She's a ginger, so there's more than enuff red genes in the house. A chap I know looked at her and said "lovely paint job"
Raeh, I have a halogen heater here luckily. The cold is psychological - knowing I can't put the heating on or have a hot bath. Also a little worried about the cost in terms of electrcity for the heater. My lecky is far more expensive than my gas.
Your little menagerie sounds lovely. How nice if you were able to add the hamster to itI must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

People can be so mean suep. No tolerance at all.
I've thought of the plus point from the heating leak. The kitchen floor has never been so clean!
Landlord's agent is coming tomorrow between 1pm and 2pm so hopefully will be fixed then.
I just don't relish the thought of not being able to flush the loo. When you've got IBS, that's not pleasant.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

presumably landlord will fork out the money for the plumber (well return it to you)?
i end up with everything spread round the sofa too, and then the pile of stuff grows and spreads.Cwta wrote:BZ Hope your doggie is OK. Poor thing. Always have to be on the safe side with choccies though. Little beggers always seem to get into the trough with something they shouldn't.
The vet asked us if she was greedy...erm, what do you think?! :rotfl:RoxsiScotland wrote:I slept through my haircut appointment the other day (doh!) so thought i'd get some hair dye and spruce myself up instead. It definetely did not go to plan -I look like i'm rusting!! oh well, may aswell look how i feel eh :rotfl:anyone else got frost today?Last time I had it done was for my Valentine's pressie
Raeh wrote:i have the big cat bernard squashed in at the side of me on the sofa [he's the size of a small dog!!] and the kitten is sat on the back of the sofa sort of on my shoulder like a parrot lol and the dogs laid by me on the floor ..... its great to be loved) is the other way round - he's the size of a big cat...crossed with a ferret! He's curled up at the side of me and does the laptop thing SueP's dog does...head on the keyboard demanding all the attention in the world! Molly's more annoying though as I just get a jab with a wet demanding nose from her. She keeps getting my engagement ring with her snout though and I'm a bit worried she's gonna catch herself on the sharp bits (of my very expenny diamonds - woop woop
) and cut herself...
I'm pleased to say that despite having done quite a lot the last week, even with the loss of sleep going to the frickin vets, I think I've felt better - more functionable - this past week (or at least since I've remembered to take the pregabalin in the morning as well as the night!). :T The fact that I've managed to cook so often is a bluddy miracle, and a welcome one at that - esp with wanting to cut down on !!!! on the run up to the wedding (have I mentioned it yet?). It's come back to bite me in the !!! tonight though... as I've managed to burn myself on the top of my finger while putting chicken chasseur in
. To add insult to injury, the instructions said 40-45mins and it's still not ready nearly 1hr30min later...so I'm hungry as well as sore!! I know it must be a bad burn cos I got an almost immediate blister and the aloe vera gel soaks in far more quickly than it should rightfully do.
How's everyone else tonight? Was it Raeh that said she was trying pregabalin at the moment too? I have found I've had more of a thirst/dry mouth and I've got a stinking headache tonight, but I think that's a combination of not drinking enough the day before yesterday and not enough sleep last night, coupled with the cold coming through the window that MIL2B sits by (as an attempt to protect me from her smoking ) and hunger... oh sue thats terrible
im so sorry, there are just some wrong people in this world
bz yes it was me on the pregabalin, at the moment im pleased with them as im sleeping better and i dont have the electric shock tingles in my arms so much, but iv have noticed im really thirsty but hadnt thought about it being to do with the tablets? hope tea was good once it finally was ready
Cwta i hope its all sorted quickly and smoothly tomorrow and as for the kitchen floor.. well as i have heard said before , every cloud and all that
i thought id show a pic of my fur babies, this is bernard and the new addition sammy [i will point out my youngest has named all the animals!]
this is bernard and kipper, you can see better here how big bernard is as kipper is a very large rottie2009-£7500 2010 £10800 2011 £2000

Sorry, couldn't resize it. This is Lita.
Her ear is snipped as she was a feral. When they neuter them, they notch their ears so they can tell straight away whether the cat in question has already been done or not.
She's a little mare.
Raeh, yours are absolute sweeties. Lovely that they all get on so well. I love Rotties too.
