The tooth is fine so far, ta. I think I'm not too bothered about it, so far, cos I'm used to avoiding sharp bits with my tongue - I had 5 years of braces! Ah, them were the days
I reserve the right to moan unreservedly tomorrow though!"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -

CwtA the islands sound gorgeousi hope you have a wonderful relaxing time when you go. Im not going to ask why you are stuffing the wheat bags down your knickers  and im glad you sorted the internet connection, i lost wireless connection yesterday for a short while as dh is converting our loft into a play room and had been moving things in the bedroom where the router is and knocked it so i had to fiddle about to get all the wires working again.....i almost had heart failure when i couldnt get online
BZ im well jealousyour hol sounded fabulous. I hope your tooth doesnt start to give you any trouble x

Hi to everybody and to the 'new' sufferers.
I have just woken up, my goodness it's cold (hot water bottle needs refill), I have been asleep since...Thursday or Friday.
Th eproblem with M.E is that apart from sleeping for days on end and waking up at the strangest times, that you don't remeber anything!
I had a brain tumour removed almost 2 years ago and always thought that was why but having spoken to other M.E sufferers on the threads it seems that this part nof the illness.
I was going to write something else but... ah just remebered, fortunately I have catch up TV, and having been watching the programme series 'Island Parish' about the Scilly Islands, Careful, I am sure that you will have a great holiday there, it looks really lovely.
I too have done the Canadian Train trip and also spent 6 weeks going all over the U.S. Before I succumbed to this life of subsisting I travelled all over the world for my work and also spent a lot of time travelling for holidays.
Now I say to myself, well at least I did that,.....
Well, hands are freezing now, lots of spelling mistakes!!
I too always have a dry mouth and am glugging lots of water all the time, (I have Hypoglycemia) very annoying. Stragely enough when I am sleeping for 30 hours plus I never get up to go to the loo(no, I don't wet the bed!!)when I am asleep it is like being under aneasthetic, I am completely unaware of whet is happening around me.
Oh my God weird spelling!!!!!!
See ya!:smileyheaMagenta0 -

Morning pcl. That was succinct. All OK? Hope you managed a decent sleep again.
Raeh I suppose I should really have said that I put the heat seeking patches on my back and that's why they would be in my knickers. Oh the mental images!
Lovely to have a pal drop by. Love the sound of your kit too. The youngest cat I ever had was 6 months old.
BZ The reason you reminded me of wheatbags was you said the ones you saw were reusable. Hope your tooth isn't troublesome today.
Magenta Sometimes when I wake from an epic sleep, I can't quite think where I am - in a where I'm living at the moment type of thing. I've had to move a lot and in the space of one year I re-located 7 times. Grim *grin*
I haven't really had the wanderlust for visiting wierd and wonderful countries. I've only been to Europe and Menorca became a favourite place for me - the quiet part of course.
I would love to visit Aus, NZ and the States, but suspect that long-haul is no longer an option for me. Apart from anything else, the cost of insurance would prob be punitive. I can't begin to imagine the cost of repatriation from such places!
I'm also scared of my IBS kicking off.
However, my fave exSIL who has Crohns goes to all sorts of places - Sri Lanka, Kenya, Maldives. I really admire her.
There is a small possibility I may have a long weekend in Ireland next year, but time will tell.
Also, going on my own, I want to go to places where I will feel safe.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
good afternoon
is everyone having a lie in apart from magenta and pcl?? its extremely cold here today, iv had to take Billy to buy thick wooly socks for inside his walking boots for tomorrow and he insisted on buying a new hat that has fur inside it and on the ear flaps, he looks very snuggly warm in it
we only nipped to matalan as its closest but the car parks were very full and the shops were mad??!! i dread to think what the shops will be like in another week
i hope everyone has a lovely warm sunday, im going to sit for a while keeping warm but then i really have to get some clothes ironed :rolleyes:2009-£7500 2010 £10800 2011 £2000

hi CwtA
we were posting at the same time, our kitty is 10 weeks and shes gorgeous, i had no intention of yet another animal but Billy was desperate to have her as it was his friends cat that had the kittens and he saw her when she was 2 days.... i said i was a soft touch  shes very funny with the huge lump of a dog we have as his head is about twice her size
I think you are very brave going off on holiday by yourselfim very much happier at home and the older i get the more stressed i feel when im not close to home
BZ i forgot to say i hope your tooth has been ok over night and today?2009-£7500 2010 £10800 2011 £2000

Raeh, another soft touch here concerning animals. My cat was a feral 4 year old and ws going to be put down as no-one else would take her. She's 8 now and remains quite feral despite being very affectionate on her terms. I have never picked her up as that's a step too far for her. She holds grudges and if she isn't able to get me when she wants she waits until I'm standiing up and bites my feet! She can be challenging to love, but I wouldn't be without her.
I used to be cripplingly shy and wouldn't even go to shops on my own, but as I've got older, I've realised that it's only me that can limit my life and experiences and started "playing" at being confident. In the end it becomes a real part of your persona. It's the first steps that are scariest.
Catch you all later - Raeh, don't overdo it after your late night and give your ds and kitten lots of snuggles.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

i dunno sleeping seems to have stolen my brain and concentration again, so i have been flitting about between being online and doing other stuff and not suceeding at anything.
have to go out in a bit because i said id pick my friend up fomr work and take her home, that way i get my fingerless gloves from my other friend and stop either of them coming round here. its much easier to leave than to throw them out when i have had enough. (im so ungrateful )0 -
BZ im well jealous

and dont leave your wedding dress too long if you want to order one as lots of places wont order if you have less than about 6 months as they dont arrive in time as my sister found out :eek:Unfortunately I was a teen and didn't fully appreciate what I was experiencing. I wish, now, that I could go back in time and take my digital camera.
Hopefully one day I'll be able to go again, with OH and/or kids.
Oh please, don't mention dresses. It freaks me out!! I'm not into the "just go behind the curtain dear, strip down to your underwear, and I'll bring the dress in to put on you in a moment" thing. Urgh. I perish the thought!!
I wasn't having a lie in, infact I must've only had like 4hrs sleep last night. One of the dogs was ill and we ended up taking her to the emergency vets at like 3-3.30am!
Got to sleep about 5am in the end, and then up at 9.30ish for church... picked up some Maccy's on the way home  and here I amStupid dog looked the picture of health and happiness once we actually got to the emergency vets... but £110 later... It's her own stupid fault for eating half a box of faux After Eights, which she very conivingly stole while me and OH popped out last night. MIL2B didn't notice though
Thanks for your concern guys. Tooth isn't too bad today. I was expecting more nerve pain tbh, but managing so far so hopefully infection won't set in and they'll be able to patch it up with yet another filling...?
Magenta - so you're a fellow ME-er then are ya? Have you been officially diagnosed with Fibro? If so, did they present it as a seperate condition, a symptom of ME or kind of "under the same umbrella"?I'm only interested cos I seem to get a different version of events from everyone who's mentioned it!
