So if you see a woman with mad hair muttering to herself, carrying a glass with a frog in it down the road in the middle of the night - it's me.
lol very funny image, cheered me up. i'm loving all the cute animal exploits (i've been lurking here but feeling too much like a big wet slug to post! really great to read everyones gossip and shared ailments hehe)
my cats fully grown but small and stumpy, think she's some sort of dwarf if thats the right word. anyway i caught her flat to the ground stalking a great big crow the other morning, stupid cat. i had visions of the bird flying away with her grasped in its talons!0 -
Raeh - that sounds grim (thanks BZ!). Sleep it off tonight and I hope the bad dreams don't get ya. I did wonder if there was a dwarf called "bride to be", but quickly discounted it.
sounds like your frogs are having a sexual identity crisis, I'm sure there must be soome sort of lottery grant to get counselling for them.
Roxsi, come on in and join the fun. Hopefully you already know we are a friendly and supportive bunch, so dump all your woes and exploits here. Even if you just say hi.
Whilst channel hopping (can't sleep) came across a paramedics programme with a man who has such severe Raynaulds that he loses all sensation in limbs and can't move. The poor chap got stuck in the bath as the change in temperature set it off.

There are lots of ways to help with this that you can find on-line.
And I'm carp at guessing stuff, but it has to be sleepy?

Seriuosly though, if you think that's funny then welcome aboard...the rest of us are much funnier
(Ok, so it's apparently not possible for me to be "serious" then!)

I always tell people that do that "I can't possibly tell you my woes cos you have your own much more seriuos ones" thing (*sigh*) that there's always someone worse off than yourself, but that doesn't mean that your own experiences aren't challenging/difficult too. So, basically, spill!! :P
(Or something like that anyway)

Hi everyone
Was just lurking around the forum and saw this thread. I have had FM for about 10yrs but my consultant isn't sure if it's RA or Lupus or a combination of all 3!. I'm beyond caring, I don't need to tell you guys how painful and miserable it is. Sorry to moan but I can't sleep toniter as I keep sleeping all day instead. I'll read through this thread and hopefully some of your optimism and sense of humour will rub off on me
Have a nice weekend everyone

I know too well the sleeping all day syndrome. Messes with you after a while doesn't it?Don't apologise for moaning - we've come to the conclusion that venting is both good and necessary, and if you do it on here then you have the advantages that both we'll understand and that you'll give your friends/relatives a break
If our humour doesn't rub off on you, love, then nothing will....
Btw, feel free to PM one or all(! I'll just speak for everyone, they won't mind) of us

Hey thanks for the reply, it was v kind of you.
It's weird being up so late. just watched a movie online called Stuart a Life Backwards, it was really funny & moving.
I'm so suprised that so many folk here have FM or some related condition, after reading some of these posts. But so many people haven't heard about it. I get on my soapbox sometimes about 'hidden disabilities', but hey I'm a bit of a militant / rebel.:o
I hope you all have a painfree weekend, wrapped up warm and snuggly, I for one will be cuddled up with a hottie bottle, 2 cats and a box of chocs, everything I need to veg out in front of the telly cos it's too bloomin' cold to go out:p

morning everyone,
i slept! for a whole 7 hours woot. and only got up twice for a few minutes during that too.
hope you all had a good night.
as for the dwarf dozey praps ? (there was a dwarf called dozey wasn't there?)
cats are great company bushbaby, hope you get some sleep at some point.0 -
Good on yer pcl, putting up with things is hard, but putting up with things when you are in sleep deficit is nigh on impossible and I take my metaphorical hat off to you!
Bushbaby, hello and welcome. After a while this thread feels like coming home. Only when you've walked a mile in my shoes type of thingie.
There's only one topic of conversation that's banned and that's weddings *grin*.
I saw Stuart, a Life Backwards on Tv a while ago. Really touching stuff. I tried to read the book also after having seen the programme, but it made me all weepy, soggy and hard to light. I didn't realise it was available online and may watch again - thanks for that.
Am up early enuff to get the good stuff at the farmers market and to remember that I don't need a camcorder or my palm read.
I have been suffering from wind the last couple of days and am quite uncomfy. If you hear of gales in the SW, that'll be me getting some relief.
BZ, PLEASE get some rest today. You're really overdoing it and I'm getting concerned that your health (yer, right) may crash. Do it for Auntie Axe?I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

Welcome to our new posters, come on in, pull up a chair and flop. Just like the rest of us do.
CwtA - were you responsible for the heavy winds last night?s/e0
