However, the Tesco site used the words "between 18th September and 12th November", indicating inclusive dates. On this basis, an account opened on 12th November would qualify.

has anyone got a screenshot (or link to somewhere quoting that) of this because i'm sure that's how i read it but now cannot find any evidence of that....

Several other references on here. Just use the forum search tool and search for "Tesco 6.5% between November" (without the quotes).

Any url shown will have been superceded of course, but the content has been copied and pasted so should be good enough?

It is still there on their website.

From the Tescofinance savings tab on the Tescofinance website, click on "Ask" at the top right of the website next to "Got a question". You will see the question and answer which is:-

    Question:

If my Internet Saver account is not open by the 12th November will I still qualify for Clubcard Points?

    Answer:

Yes, as long as we have received your application by the 12th November and you have the required balance in your account on the 30th November you will be awarded the Clubcard Points.

Not sure what "received your application" means (" or whether "by" means on or on or before for that matter) it could mean receipt of the paper application, it could mean when you clicked on "apply" on ther website when first applying.
MSE. Abandon hope all ye who enter here :D
  • tesco have now increased the deadline date to 31st dec, so all those who have not yet put the money into the tesco internet saver can do so and still get the club card points.
Debt Free date March 09:D hopefully sooner!
    £ 1640- virgin card
    £ 441.76- bank loan

    total was £3891.20
    now £ 2081.76
  • So, I was one of the lucky ones, who received the information very quickly, activated online banking quite quickly (just with a small delay processing my signature) and had £5,000.01 in my new savings account on 30th November.

I moved £5,000.00 back out again on the 1st December, leaving 1p in the account (that's still there, waiting til I get my points before I close the account so I can prove the existence of it!)

So, do I now have to put it all back in again by 30th December or will I still get the Clubcard points?

ginvzt, you said; I have got my points and so did my OH!
I opened an account for myself and another for my OH, both quoting the same Clubcard number, but have only received one points credit. Do you and your OH have the same CC a/c ?

We have different clubcards, so we quoted different numbers on the applications.

  • A couple of questions... my cash went in approx 20th nov & cleared well before 30th nov. i now see the date as been extended to 31st dec...does this mean it as to stay in beyond the 31st to qualify for the points ??... 2nd question... for the life in me , i cannot see on my account , how to remove my money ...scuse my ignorance on this one.
many thanks for your patience .
