Just a quick entry for now as I have to go to the station soon to pick up bf (after a mammoth 11 hour sleep he has finally woken up. He's only going to be an hour late which is better than usual for him.
Yesterday I was able to withdraw £34 from the gala free bingo trial, and I won £120 a couple of nights ago on slots from another free trial which is great. I'm also waiting for £72 which is validated on quidco to turn to paid, and at least £250 from top cashback, though a have a few things which I've had to raise a ticket for.If they pay out it will be another £80 to add to it. I'm working towards a £50 cheque on dooyoo (only about £10 of the way so far though).
I have £60 in the account with the larger overdraft, and as I said any money I get from cashback etc is going in there toreduce the overdraft. I had £15 in paypal from various surveys but I've bought a DS game from there which was £9. My mum asked me what I want I wanted for my birthday so when it arrives I'll give it to her to keep for my birthday and she'll give me the cash. It's good because the £9 can go towards paying off my overdraft, and she gets to buy me something quite cheap that I want. My mum works p/t in M&S whilst she is looking after my little sister, so she struggles a bit too. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -
I've just been totting up the money that I've got to knock off of my larger overdraft, I've realised that soon I'll have slightly over £200 in there which is great as it's 20% of the target I need by August and I seem to have done it fairly quickly.
I got an email confirming that £100 of my £120 winnings has been sent to my credit card and should be there in the next 5-10 working days. I withdrew the other £20 yesterday so hopefully that should follow soon (I couldn't withdraw it in one go as you can only withdraw once in 24 hours, and they have set increments which is a bit stupids in my opinion). Annoyingly it will go back on to the credit card as that's the one I deposited with, but I'm going to use it to pay for the food shopping and get my dad to transfer me the cash so I will get it in cash in a roundabout way eventually.
Also, paddypower have given me a free £10 bet, I doubt I'll win but I've got nothing to lose. I've been on Bingoport this morning and managed to make it to 5000 points. I decided that as that's only worth about £3 in Amazon vouchers I'm going to redeem it for £10 to play with on bingo cafe instead. They have the cludeo slot that I like which is what I won on the other day, and it's basically free money with the chance of winning me a bit more cash, so I don't really have a lot to lose.
Once I've got all of my cashback I'll have about £500 in the account which will be great. When I get to the £500 mark I'll go in to a branch and officially get the overdraft reduced which will be a nice feeling. I really cannot wait to get rid of Abbey.
I've noticed that my diary has been moved to the new board now too. I can understand why they did it, I never knew there were so many debt diaries. In a way it's a bit of a shame as there are so many of us in debt, but at least we're trying to get rid of it.Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -
I haven't got a huge amount to report, but I thought I'd do a little update. I was sent a £5 Amazon voucher from Autoinsight the other day, I'd completely forgotten about it so that was a nice surprise. I'm also very almost able to get a cheque from global test market, and another voucher from IPSOS. I can't decide which to go for at the moment, though my sister is home from uni for easter so I might be able to sell her a Boots or Arcadia one.
I went into town with her yesterday and watched her spend £150 on things which she mostly didn't need. I didn't particularly enjoy watching it and I've told her the trouble she will get herself into, but she doesn't care and gets annoyed if I keep on at her so I've given up now. I spent £20 on a top in River Island, but of all the money I've won recently I haven't spent any of it on myself, so that's all I'm going to buy from my winnings.
Conveniently Paddypower gave me a free £10 bet, my dad told me to put it on whatever team beat Man City last night (bets pay out at the 90 minute score), so I made £18 which is great. I wasn't expecting to win at all, and in effect it paid for my top.
We were also in Boots yesterday, and I'd spotted when I visited my mum at the weekend that she was running out of some face stuff she asked me to get her before christmas. It's usually £8.80, but it was only £3.40 so I've got her a couple for mothers day (and I was able to pay using Boots points). They are a good price at the moment and I'd rather get her something I know she'll use. As I mentioned in a previous post she struggles with money a bit, so this will save her a bit of money too. I was also given the £5 no7 voucher which I shouldn't have been, so I'll use that either today or tomorrow. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -
I'm not amused today, I've been ill since Saturday night and haven't slept properly at all. Why can't I get better!
Anyway, ignoring my illness, I'm up to £15.50 on dooyoo. I've also withdrawn £10 from a scratchcard and have £17 coming from various things. That means I'll be up to about £240 in my Abbey account which is great. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -

Thanks
. I might get dressed and have a potter about in the garden, sitting in my pyjamas probably isn't helping me. I grew a lot of my own veg last year which I enjoyed and I've got some seeds on the go including some runner beans which will need planting on soon
.

I haven't posted for a few days so I figure it's time for an update.
Unfortunately I'm still a bit sniffley and have a slight cough, but at least I'm a lot better than I was. The runner beans I planted are doing really well, I've been pulling up some of the old dead stuff from last year to make way for this years veg and will plant some more seeds soon. In fact, I've just finished eating a little plastic box of grapes my boyfriend got me (to try and make me well lol), and realised the box would make a great propogator, so three guesses what I'm going to do when I've finished this.
Anyway, I had an argument with my dad earlier so I'm a bit miserable. It wasn't anything major but we have completely opposing characters and sometimes annoy each other. I've also been filling out another job application which never does much for my mood. I've always thought I'm rubbish at everything and failing to get jobs always compounds that thought.
Enough of my moaning...
As far as money goes I've managed to redeem a cheque from global test market which should be for about £35 with the current exchange rate. As expected that will be taken off the overdraft. I spent £26 on petrol a few days ago but that should last me at least two weeks. I also went a bit mad and bought the first series of desperate housewives from ebay, but it was only £8.99 and I did try streaming it first but it really wasn't working. I don't think £9 for nearly 1000 minutes is bad though. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470
