Thanks to Martin and Dan, ING have posted on this thread and I appreciate that they have. I understand they must have had their difficulties, although their earlier lack of clear communication only made things worse.

Imagine if you hadn't received your money yet hometune...Let's keep up the great support on this thread and not be too impatient. First things first.

Just to note I know some people have said "why didnt you post earlier". Actually the spokesperson did register earlier, but then realised it broke our rules and didn't post. It was only when I specifically invited him to post today and gave permission I found this out - so to be fair that's not something to have a go at.

From my perspective, we are now in a position with a firm deadline. To try and push that forward isn't going to work.

On friday afternoon I (or Dan - as Im sure you realise we're working together on this, and other commitments mean Im out of the office) will be back here to check no one is missing and everyone is satisfied.

As said before we are going to see this through until everyone has their cash. And we now have a more open door with the spokespeople at ING (who I should say, personally do when I speak, seem to be keen to sort this out).

I think I may be in for a good night's sleep tonight.
Just had a call from Alastair Hemmings. He informed me that all payments will leave ING by Thursday 23 October, definitely, as per statement from ING spokesman.
I did ask if it might be possible that the database still be set up and customer service team given information that we are on that list of savers still awaiting payments.
And for those of you on about CHAPS £20 refunds and lost interest, as soon as us, still waiting for our cash have been paid, they will then start to redress these issues.
I, for one thought Mr Hemmings sounded genuine and sincere and will put my trust in him, at least until the end of the week.
