No email
No CHAPS refund
but, worst of all ----
No £38k!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A serious thank you to all connected in any way with this forum; those in MSE who set it up and all those who have posted- without the reassurances you have given me I would be in some state.:A0 -
Made a CHAPS transfer on 9th October 2008. Still await my £47k into my Halifax account. Desperately worried about this and furious with ING for dragging this out hour by hour. Would have preferred more honest responses from their customer team. Have not received any e mail from ING.0

Great to hear payments will all be resolved on Thursday/Friday.
Is it possible you can give us information regarding refund of the CHAPS transfer charges and lost interest. Would be helpful for everyone on the forum to know how ING intend on sorting these issues. We have been promised on the website updates on how to claim back these charges yet nothing has been announced as of yet!
Thanks
I appreciate that you want back what's owed to you, but there are still a lot of people on here that have not been re-united with their money yet and continue to face an anxious wait. Can you please wait until after we have received our money back before asking about chaps refunds and interest. No more offshore banking for me :rolleyes:0 -

I have had e-mail from Ing on 15 10 08 saying that my money is safe. I had a Kaupthing Edge £34,900 1 year bond. I am unable to sign onto the Kaupthing Edge site, even though Ing says that I should be able to. I am concerned that our UK gov guarentee no longer applies to money in ING. They seem to have handed over my money to what may prove an unreliable Dutch Bank. I feel let down by our government. What do you all think? Is there any possibility if the web site ever comes on line again it would be possible/advisable to try and transfer the money back to my account?
Yep - Gordon Brown the T**T - switching my UK money into a Dutch bank -- I did not ask for that!! geez how I hate these people.STILL WAITING for refund of 1x £20 fee plus missing interest on our 2 accounts.0 -
I'm trying to keep the database up to date re money received but not everyone used user names when they emailed me etc. If you are still waiting, and I have your details, tell me and I'll keep it going.
Hi tmvc2007 - still waiting for mine.
I am still at a loss as to understand how ING have handled things so badly - when Santander took over my B&B account so seamlessly ... unless there was a legal wrangle because funds left one entity and were transferred to another, leading to the FSA and FSCS having to get involved to guarantee lost money, or money that wasn't part of the initial transfer terms ...
Are we not due a full and frank explanation? We are all adults and would simply appreciate the ins and outs of what went on? PR people have simply got in the way, we don't want the verbal equivalent of woolly fuzz we want substance! Why/how has this happened?0 -

I have to agree that ING's actions and response has been very poor. I suspect that this will have damaged ING's reputation in the UK. How difficult is it to transfer money from account A to account B ? I know not all of the fault lies with ING but they are now the company that holds my money.0 -
Hi
The ING Spokespersons post will go in the front post.
Just to note I know some people have said "why didnt you post earlier". Actually the spokesperson did register earlier, but then realised it broke our rules and didn't post. It was only when I specifically invited him to post today and gave permission I found this out - so to be fair that's not something to have a go at.
From my perspective, we are now in a position with a firm deadline. To try and push that forward isn't going to work.
On friday afternoon I (or Dan - as Im sure you realise we're working together on this, and other commitments mean Im out of the office) will be back here to check no one is missing and everyone is satisfied.
As said before we are going to see this through until everyone has their cash. And we now have a more open door with the spokespeople at ING (who I should say, personally do when I speak, seem to be keen to sort this out).
