    UPDATE: MONDAY 20TH OCTOBER, 16.30PM

Kaupthing Edge outstanding payment issue resolved
We have been working hard to clear the back log of payments and the vast majority of these have now been made. However, there are a small number of payments which we have been unable to process so far due to administrative issues within Kaupthing Edge.
Kaupthing Edge in the UK is being run by Administrators and we have now received their confirmation that all outstanding payments will be released by Thursday 23 October and we would expect these to start arriving in the destination bank account on Friday 24 October.
ING Direct and the Administrators would like to apologise once again for the delay in resolving this issue.
Your money is safe and secure and our priority remains to restore normal service to all customers.

Appreciated this has been posted before but unless it stands out easy to miss in thread which fills pages so quickly. Anyway, looks like ING posted on Kaupthing Edge site link rather than here.

    i have the same problem
it might be the problem, may be negative balance will triger an alarm and stop all transferes out (just a theory)
so we might need to wait till friday 24th as it stated by ING, hate waiting
  • KE have just unbroken my Fixed Term Deposit (requested on 8th October) and the money is now sitting in my Easy access account. Bit worried about transferring to my linked account though as I'm still waiting on the funds I transferred by CHAPS on 7th October to RBS.

    Hi folks

My £8k has arrived! It came sometime between 3 - 6pm this afternoon. Thank goodness! We've just put the heating on and it is wonderful to be warm again!

Best wishes to those still waiting - we will be watching from the wings and quietly supporting you.

Is it possible you can get onto ING regarding refund of the CHAPS transfer charges and lost interest. Would be helpful for everyone to know how ING intend on sorting these issues. They have promised updates on their website regarding the charges and loss of interest but nothing has come to light yet!

    Thanks
    CHAPS 8th received 20th into HSBC A/C
BACS on the 17th and 20th received 22nd into HSBC A/C
    CHAPS fee refunded 29/10
I can survive any crisis - I have kids!!

Let's hassle them for the capital payments for everyone else first. Surely we can wait for £20 CHAPS fee and 2 weeks of interest.....
  • Still no money .... :(
CHAPS transfer on 8th @ 11am, have not received the "5%" email.
Who else is left? I've lost track...

Congrats to everyone who has received their money!!!
And thanks for sticking around for those of us still waiting, really grateful for your support and helpful reassurances...:o

Thanks to Martin, Dan, and MSE team for working on resolving this issue.

Now where is this "ING spokesperson"???

Not trying to be argumentative here but.... is this the right topic to be asking about lost interest/CHAPS refunds ? There are still those of us waiting for our money. Just a thought...
