It must be agony for those still waiting as the numbers with them get fewer.
For those of you left without money, be assured there are plenty of us who know what you feel like and will keep coming back to give support and push ING/whoever until the Last Man Standing has got his money.
For those of us who have got our money, we must all hold off hounding ING about CHAPS refunds and lost interest until all our guys have their capital back. Its not fair to divert ING work from returning life savings because some people are clammering for a few more pounds. We can launch that campaign with full momentum as soon as the last man has his life savings back.0 -
First time post...
Your messages have kept me sane during these uncertain times. Still awaiting the larger of my two sums after making two payments on 07/10 with one (the smaller one  - made smaller due to the CHAPS fee being deducted twice   ) arriving on 07/10. With all this practice I can now log onto my linked account in a nanosecond. Fingers crossed for today...
No logic and no clear communication - :T KE/ING!!!!
CHAPS 07/10 15k, received 07/10, CHAPSx2, 1 refunded
CHAPS 07/10 30k, received 30/10, CHAPSx1, 1 refunded
Told clearing bank rejected payment - both payments to same linked account0 -

thank you luke, happy harry, ippylady, bigg and everyone else (so many to thank) for your support. I actually believe it will happen for everyone now, what a fantastic bunch you all are.[/quote
So pleased for you and everyone else getting money through safely!!!!0 -
I agree with biminibob. Those who want to can start a new thread "Kaupthing Edge Interest and Chaps Fee Refund" or similar. Posts about these subjects not only water down the message of this important thread, they also hurt the feelings of those still waiting for their savings to reappear.0

Absolutely right... in fairness, they have already said this would be addressed on their early web-site messages.0 -

Another day/ another dollar (lots of them we hope)KE veteran - life seemed so much simpler then!0 -
I am now very sure that the savings of all those still waiting will reappear. And I am also more than ever sure that the slowness of the whole operation is down to the adminstrators of KE, Ernst & Young (with liberal dashes of dilatoriness from the UK Treasury and FSCS thrown in). ING too must share the blame for this all too human disaster. A lot of the stress we are and have been under is entirely due to the lack of openness about what was happening behind the scenes (and we still don't know much). We were treated like children from the outset, we were expected to keep quiet and TRUST THEM that all would be well. The UK Treasury, FSCS, FSA, Ernst & Young treated us all as Victorian parents would. We have been left to our own devices, to conjecture in the dark and fear bred fear.0

Of those of you still waiting for your money, are any of you closures? In view of my earlier post this morning, it would appear that ING are not communicating with KE or the Administrators, as they didn't even tell me that no closures are going to be processed yet. It would have saved a lot of strain, if I had at least known not to bother checking yet (as in I'm not even thinking about Icesave at present, because I know the FSCS aren't sending anything out yet). It's unforgiveable, however nice the ING team have been, it has caused me unecessary extra strain for me, at a time when I could least do with it.0
