Just caught up with the thread and now it’s empty. Was it my aftershave?

Martin is absolutely right but I’m sure they had a singsong in the air raid shelters.

Maybe we should wait until everyone has received their money and then party like there’s no tomorrow. I hope you all feeling more confident now we know it’s being dealt with.

POLITE NOTICE TO ALL K-E CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE RECEIVED THEIR PAYMENTS: Unless they have something useful to say, would they kindly refrain from cluttering this thread with their largely irrelevant comments, which are obscuring the ongoing problems suffered by those who are still awaiting payment, like me. For example, I couldn't care less about their lousy £20 CHAPS fees, when I'm still owed several tens of £'000 from the week before last. Please go and discuss that elsewhere. I ALSO FIND ATTEMPTS AT HUMOUR RATHER TEDIOUS IN THE CIRCUMSTANCES. I WOULDN'T CARE SO MUCH IF I WAS ONLY OWED A FEW HUNDRED £, OR IF I DIDN'T NEED THE MONEY FOR SEVERAL URGENT PURPOSES.

A lot of the people trying to keep their spirits up with a bit of fun, are still waiting for their money, it’s the British way of getting through a crisis..

We are all rooting for those of you still waiting. It could have been any one of us.

I believe we should get every penny owing to us, including the £20 and interest but I won’t push it until everyone is ready. I feel confident it will happen automatically.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed for everybody on Friday.

Hi Woteverittakes There has been a lot of clutter on this thread tonight and I for one did take part in banter. I think this is purely out of frustration in that nothing has really progressed today and it is good to switch off for a while. I, probably like youself have spent 12 days going to bed thinking about it and waking up thinking about it.

I have a considerable sum 29K outstanding (not a few hundred pounds). I probably like yourself need this money as interest on deposits is my only income. I agree totally with you about the CHAPS fee, it is not relevant to me either.

The trouble is today has been a bit crap. Nothing has moved forward and people have accepted the fact that they will have to wait until Friday.

I do think that we will get our money back, but probably like yourself there is the uncertainty. Apologies if anything I have put on this forum tonight has irritated you
• Forget all these small fry at the BBC - target Mark Thompson - the Director General. They put out a statement from ING on Panorama website saying that we would all be paid last Friday. I bet he is now downing a glass of Merlot and not thinking about us on here. I worked for the BBC for many years and just a tip. mark.thompson@bbc.co.uk

No communications from ING since the 14th, and CHAPS from 8th still not received. Can't get through etc and have absolutely no faith in its reassurances anymore.

Buying a the UK branch of an Icelandic Savings Bank: £3Billion.
Failing to send a simple message to its customers: Priceless.
For everything else, there's MSE :T

Just re-read your message. I did get through today to the KE number. Lady gave me 3 sets of reasons why i did not get paid, each of which i confronted with info from this forum. Eventually she, said that it was that they were waiting further funds from the administrators. I personally, dont think this is the fault if ING. Ithink it is the administrators who do not deal with the depositors but sit behind the ING front office.

Hi fleurie12 - do you think we should be pushing to much via the media. The trouble is that you don't want to have a scare on ING when in fact it may not be their fault. Lets see what everyone else thinks tomorrow.

Where did you work in the BBC? i dealt with the BBC indirectly for years in London.
• All over including Panorama but fell on my decking at the beginning of the year - fractured my pelvis and had to give it all up. Miss the buzz of the media so much. Incase you missed the previous postings here is a clip that was going on Panorama special last week but pulled giving the ing statement just before the prog. Where did you work in the Beeb?
