Yes I transferred my money on the 13th but do date nothing in my Halifax account. I got an email as well saying I was one of the 5%.

Just hope it turns up this Friday like they said

Many thanks SteepPip. Now I have had a good look round MSE and particularly this thread and its predecessor, I can see what you mean about the great people and their support. I feel honoured to be communicating with so many Kaupthing veterans!
If only I had come to these threads at the weekend I might have thought twice about my large transfer yesterday. However the withdrawal was actually to support my sons house deposit so I guess I had to try.

I also had a very honest chat with Alastair Hemmings this evening (he certainly works late). I would be very surprised if those of you who have waited longest didn't get sorted by the end of the week, but I suspect those with the most recent transfers like me will be very fortunate indeed if we see anything by the end of the week. I am grateful for his honesty, but I fear my son will have to start his house hunting all over again.

As this thread has turned into a juke box and at the risk of giving away my age and the location where I grew up this is the tune I would like to dedicate to the ING Spokespeople this evening.

I transferred £47000 out by CHAPS on Mon 20th Oct 10:00am and i have not recieved the money in my linked account! why have they not stopped customers making CHAPS payments? or at least posted on their website that there is still a delay with CHAPS even now. They still charge you £20. So my guess is they still have problems. They should advised customers that even now CHAPS transfers will not arrive in linked accounts as they promise. :mad:
