Silvergirl Hi, I was informed by the one and only Alister Hemming ING customer manager that even fixed terms would be sent out Friday.
I too have my fixed term added to my savings account, but as yet no monies thro, they must be using an abbacus !! ( is that how you spell that lols )

Hi Everyone

I've been following this thread for a while now and thought it was about time I joined in the discussion.

I haven't received a penny of money yet and have been calling both KE and ING everyday only to get the usual patter that everyone else seems to be getting. I transferred my money on 13th Oct as soon as I got back from my holiday. The irony of all this is is that I originally had my money in an icesave account which I closed about 6 weeks ago and transferred to KE because it was covered by the UK compensation scheme...lets just say I had a sixth sense. Anyway now my money has been transferred along with everyone elses to a Dutch bank that is not covered by the UK scheme. How annoying!!! Just wanted to ask...did anyone get an error message come up on their screen when they tried to do their transfer? I did.

Oh btw I did get an email saying mine was one of the 5% of cases that is stuck in the system.

Today I've made a formal complaint to ING which is the first step in taking this to the Financial Ombudsman. I've had dealings with a large number of financial companies, and only twice have I ever threatened to go to the Ombudsman, and one of those was for very poor service from ING Direct !
