So sorry that no money came through today - keep the pressure up. Quote knowledge from the site about numbers and amounts - if nothing else it causes a sudden silence on the phone line. real and virtual digits crossed for everyone.CHAPS 8th Oct Rec'd 20th Lloyds TSB0

Remember Valleycommando ? He stopped posting abruptly, and now that we know ING are following this thread, I wonder whether a quiet word was said to ING staff.
If you're out there valley - thanks for your effort.
ING - be gentle with him. He made contact and tried to pass on info to us when you should have.0 -

I've spoken to an adviser at Kaupthing Edge today as I'm waiting for my term deposit which I'd only recently bought to be cancelled and the money returned to the KE savings account so that I can attempt a BACS transfer. I'm told there is no info yet on when ING will release term deposits so I'm still having sleepless nights. Is there any more up to date information please? Sorry if I've missed previous threads/blogs on this subject.
Hi Silvergirl, and welcome. I am a fixed term account holder, and my fixed term was broken today, but I did attempt this on the 8th October. They place your fixed term account into your regular savings account first and then they will work on transferring it to your linked account. If you have only just asked them to break your fixed term, I am sure it will happen, but just not as quickly as we would like. I know this doesn't give you a solid answer, but just wait until Monday, check your account again, and if nothing has changed, then ring them and ask them to look at your account to see what is marked on it. Stay positive and stay with the forum they will give you all the support you need.Money requested 08/10, left KE 22/10 - Arrived 24/100
