Left-hand side of the screen - just checked myself and viewed my messages as normal.

I’m on the Accounts screen right now and cannot see a ‘VIEW SECURE MESSAGES’ button.

Me too, definately no secure message button. Probably not enough money in the account to earn one now..

Don't worry bigg, I haven't got one of these buttons either, and yes, I have just checked. We can't be important enough.

Maybe it only appears if you have any messages.
  • Hi, I seem to have Secure Messaging and View Secure Messages. Not that they are any use! I've sent many messages and had no response at all, so don't feel left out!

Just a bit of an off topic, I transfered all my money out of K/E all but about 50p, in the terms and conditions they say you have to have a minimum of £1. Could they close the account if it has less, just wondering if they do where would the interest they owe go when they finially get round to paying it out?

Without reading their specific terms and conditions, I would imagine it means you have to open the account with a minimum of £1. I was panicking too much to read t&cs, when getting my money out of thee Halifax. Now I’ve put it back there.

I left a £1 in mine but I’d be very surprised if they closed any accounts. ING will be hoping to repatriate savers, at some stage.

Don't know if it will do any good but have just logged a complaint about the way ING have handled the KE takeover with the AFM who are the Dutch financial supervisory body. Apparantly they are supposed to ensure dutch banks do not give misleading advice / information to consumers etc...

Probably a waste of time and no doubt will not speed up the money actually arriving in my account. Will await reply...

HaHa...just recived one of those autoreply things and it's all in Dutch - looks a bit similar to german and think it says they will endeavor to look at the complaint and get back to me within ten working days.
This thread may have closed by then if all have received their money (hopefully:o ) but I will post any reply as I get it.

Good luck to all still awaiting money, and thanks to everyone for support and useful information got from this thread.

    Roll on Friday....

oh well I just transfered 50p over to make it up to £1 just to be on the safe side.. sounds trivial but they're not getting away with not paying the interest aswell...Probably take another two weeks for it to go back in...lol
