Snags sorry to hear your news yesterday. I hope you are ok xx
Thank you sweetie - yes I'm okay I think. Things haven't been right for a long time really. I'm trying to sort out practical things like work at the moment, but my head just feels heavy and cloudy.

    Morning all.. Monday again

DD - I don't have kids but I don't think there's a parent in the world who hasn't felt guilty or wondered if they're doing things the right way.

Jinky - have you done that ironing yet? ;)

Where can I get big sheets of not too expensive paper, and some soluble paints - hobby craft? There is one nearby I can go to at lunchtime.

Pound shops, Home Bargains or Wilkinsons are good for stuff like that if there's one of them near you.

I used to LOVE hand and foot painting at playgroup when I was little.. mmm squelchy :D

I think the best thing about babies is being about to sing silly songs like that BB :D

Spud I think a chart like BB says is a good idea. Or what about maybe something on the fridge? Like this perhaps

I can't wait to go and get him this afternoon now :o

Working at home from lunch, thank god - very handy as I have to go food shopping!

Hobby craft good..or ELC or ASDA etc
same for paper I would think....unless you want to try scrounge some at the supermarket:D The sheets they stack the sugar on are excellent;)

I know you've been through your fair share of rough patches over the past couple of years, so well done for knowing when to say enough is enough. The practical stuff will all come together in time.... heavy and cloudy head... welcome to my world :D

    Hello, busy day for me.
Got loads of CCA requests to send off, plus some irresponsible lending letters, and some forms for the bank charges were getting back for hardship. Will also be asking for some F&F amounts.
Also going to get ds2 a high chair today (got a thirty pound voucher for Mamas and Papas, so wont have to actually spend much), and going to make some rice krispy cakes with ds1.
Were decorating the hallway, stairs and our bedroom, so weve sanded down the front door, pollyfilled everywhere and sanded all skirting boards and bits, so that really needs painting today because it looks scratty. We got some new carpets put down a few months ago, so weve done things in the wrong order really! Am praying I dont get paint all over the place
ALSO am going to be putting one of our cars on auto trader today. Its just been sat on the driveway gathering dust because weve never got round to getting rid of it! lol Should get around £4000 for it, so that'll be clearing a debt :T and we'll still be left with a car worth a few grand to fall back on if we need it.
I got paid today (only about £350 a month but not too bad) and dp will be getting himself a better job in a few months when his course finishes, so Im feeling optomistic today. :p

Sorry for long post everyone! Waiting for my 6 month old to wake up (lazy :P ), so thought Id pass the time!
    :)
