    !!!!!!

Work wont consider parental leave because they are too busy (although did say they would try and accomodate shift swaps etc).

But I've now fallen out with my Dad, because he rang up all business-like trying to sort out how I could go to work tomorrow night - and I know he was trying to be nice, but it just came across so callous that he couldn't see that work wasn't my main priority, and I MIGHT ACTUALLY BE UPSET THAT MY MARRIAGE HAS !!!!ING FAILED.

So I hung up, and he has now left me an arsey anwerphone message.

  • Awwwww sorry for all the bad news around - been through it myself earlier this year too so know how odd it feels adjusting to being single again and organising all the child stuff etc. Not easy, but it gets better. 6 months on from my split I am the happiest and I've been in years, so there is light at the end of the tunnel.

On that positive note, I am bursting with excitement as I am off to view a house at 2.30pm!!!! Please keep all your fingers and toes crossed for me as I am currently living in a tiny 2bed terrace with 3 children in one bedroom, plus every other weekend I have my new partner's child staying in there as well. As you can imagine it is cramped!!! This place is 5 bedrooms!!!! I REALLY want this house!!!

Snaggles & Indebt Hugs to you both.

When Wayne and I separated three years ago I found it so hard to sleep, to eat even to drink. I must have drunk about 4-5 litres of vodka in the first week (and maybe 500ml of cola). Just functioning was a nightmare during the day a little easier but at night it was awful - I felt so alone, especially at 2am.

We (obviously) managed to work things out but that certainly wasn't an easy decision to make, nor was it the easiest option.

One of the really funny things I remember was when he was leaving I told him he had to leave his wedding ring behind but he couldn't get it off his finger so I got out these EVIL looking cutters and told him he either left his ring or I'd cut his finger off to get the ring off - the ring came off 3 seconds later!

I'm waffling but what I really want to say is it does get easier over time but pm me or MSN me if you just wanna chat.
