Well, i know you hear good and bad reports from Landy. Some woman was moaning that her dresses were too long! erm, wouldn't that be her fault for not doing the measurements properly!! All i can say is that i had a 100% positive experience and it worked out loads cheaper than buying it over here. If you go round the bridal shops here have a look at the labels inside the dresses, lots of them are from China!! Think that says it all doesnt it.
    Good luck with your search.

I don't know if you are referring to my previous posts, my dress was too long and I had to take it to a seamstress to be shortened. Who's fault it is, is debatetable, as we followed measurements as instructed on guide, and rest of dress fitted perfectly.

Even with the dress being too long and Landy mistaking my order numbers (only 4 weeks to wedding) but rushing it through, I am so happy that I chose to them to make my dress, on the day no one new any different and I have had so many compliments on how nice the dress was, I would recommend them to everyone.

I will be texting friend this web site and also Landy Bridal, she was gonig to fork out 2,000 + on a dress (money down the drain if you ask me)

Ah, in that case I still may have to pay.

Mine was shipped too by DHL.

It seems that DHL pay the customs duty then invoice the customer later, don't know if other couriers do the same.
I've heard of one that sent a letter requesting the customer to pick up the parcel from the depot then charged them before handing over the package.
also some people haven't paid any, who knows:confused: lol

Has anyone ordered a dress from landy without having bought the colour swatch chart and have been happy with the colour choice?

I want to sort my bridesmaids out soon and the colour scheme is soft blue possible aqua/tifanny blue. I have had a look on the colour chart but its so difficult to tell and i cant really afford the chart(cant afford for the colour to be wrong either lol). I just wanted to know for those that had purchased dresses were the colours what you thought they were?

I need some help. Im going to be ordering my bridesmaid dresses from landy and would like to have the mens cravats in the same material. Has anyone had landy make cravats or bought material from them to make their own? I thought i read it on here someone but cant find it anywhere.

A couple of wks ago someone posted that Landy sent them matching material so they could make their own cravats because they were not sure how to make them. I'm sure whoever it was they will see this post and give you more details. xx

You can buy the patterns off E-Bay for £4.99 to make the scrunched ties. This is what I've done and am going to ask Milly to send me extra bridesmaids fabric.

This is them. Lovely E-Bay seller as well.
