Aww Candy Hun, so sorry to hear of your sad news, I want to give you a huge hug but it will have to be a virtual one, love to you and your family xx
  • I can see why lots of people are posting the way they are. For example - Candygirl shouldnt feel that she has to apologise because her post today isnt OS. I dont think people are getting at the BoardGuides, I think it is more at the people who made comments on the other thread some of them quite nasty.

I believe I am correct in saying that the overall vote was to keep the OS thread the same as it was so I would assume the people who werent happy were in the minority.

I can see why this happened and sometimes the thread goes off track - I dont have a problem with it personally but perhaps a polite PM to the people involved would be more appropiate than upseting loads of people who cant understand what they have done wrong.

As I said before I am not as OS as some people on this thread - for example I will probably never make my own pasty and I dont like soapnuts. However in 'real life' I am loads more OS than lots of people I know.

Anyway thanks to this board and this thread, the house is full of the wonderful smell of pork roasting in the remoska and later on it will smell of fresh bread baking - lovely.
  • Candygirl i am so sorry to hear about your lovely dad loosing his battle.i'll be thinking about you and your family and take care sweetie xxx
  • Afternoon all , sorry to hear your bad news Candygirl, condolences to you and your family. I too lost my own father 12 years ago to the same thing, and the only comfort you can draw upon is that he is no longer suffering.
    Take care BSB xx
Will pop back in later as my day seems insignifigant now xx
