    Hi all,

Sorry to hear about the car Shelley. Hope the bill isn't as much as you think.

TooMuch - I think everyone else is right about the dog

    Hi to everyone else

I am so broke this month. I told OH that we have been going out too much and we need to seriously cut down for about 4 weeks. He agreed with me. We have a lot of things coming up, 2 weddings (one in Spain) and Australia so we need to knuckle down. Plus he has no job yet and they haven't made a decision about his JSA.

Hopefully he will get back tax and also get the JSA and then we can be rid of the Virgin card and pay a chunk off the other.

Will probably be on here a lot more due to all the staying in. Not a bad thing I reckon, everyone on here keeps me on my toes!

Thanks for the doggy advice. I got a dog bed, not sure if he will use it if he's not used to it but it's there if he does, we have wood flooring in the kitchen/diner so it wouldn't be very comfortable to sleep on. The only reason I am concerned is that OH is working the weekend and will be away from 8am until 6pm on Saturday and 7.30am until 5pm on Sunday, maybe he will have to pop home and let the dog out, shame he isn't coming in a week or two when I will be here as I'm home all day but am going away tomorrow for a week.

OH new this when he said he would have the dog and he tells me not to worry but I can't help it, I worried about Rocky when he was alive and I'll worry about Groucho. Maybe we will have to leave the radio on in the day for him as we used to do that for Rocky to muffle any noises as we lived in a flat then and he would bark if he heard someone come up the stairs.

The radio is a great idea and some fun chewy toys to keep him entertained. If OH could pop home especially as its a new place for him. Wouldn't want you to return home to chewed furniture

    Hi all

TMD - good luck with the dog. hope he is good for your oh. enjoy your week away with the kids and try not to worry about the dog.

Shelley - hope your car wasn't too expensive.

CMD - good luck with the staying in for 4 weeks. hope you get some serious debt busting going on.

DH (who is struggling to find a job) has been offered a month's work back in his old job in aug. it means he'll be away from us for a month but it does mean a month's wage which will pay off his overdraft completely (with extra for making o/p to car loan) making christmas a doable target for being o/d free.

so i may be on here more in aug when dd is in bed. would be nice to have a [STRIKE]gossip[/STRIKE] some debt busting with you all
