i only update it end of month when i know no more money is going to come out of our accounts. i am quite pleased with that.

only cleared another £60 off ours today....

I get paid on the 15th which so far has worked out really well for us as DH gets paid last thurs of the month....

DH has been working on his application for fire service and we really REALLY need for him to get it Would be a basic take home pay of £1300...... bit of a change from the £770 he's on now.
We agreed that if he gets it, he continues to pay 620 to service our debts, which is basic payments and then some, and then he gets £225 allowance for his food and his own personal bills and then that leaves like 400 which we are going to use in bulk payments to a certain debt to get that cleared quickly..
I get so sadly excited about that being a possibility!!

CAFCGirl - sounds like you've got it all well planned (and DH under the thumb? ) so good luck with the application - hope it works out.

This weekend has been 3 NSDs but we did manage to get outside, albeit for a free trip to the park and a go on the swings!
