I know how you feel CAFC. I get excited about the thoughts of my OH getting a job after 2 years of nothing (except for last summer!). It would get rid of our debts quite quickly!

i know how you both feel cmd and cafc. dh has been offered a month's work which will completely pay off his o/d and then some. it means he'll be away from us for a month but it helps knowing he'll be bringing home a wage.

snow white - how could you have forgotten about payday??? that's unheard of!

cafc - sounds like you've got it all planned. fingers crossed for your dh getting into the fire service.

I might be in a similar situation Starnac, as there is a chance my OH will have to work away on a contract for a few months. It will be horrible, but at the same time we do need the money.

I think it reaches a point where you recognise you've just got to do whatever it is you need to do to earn some money and pay it off what you can, where you can.....

im spending the day going through everything in the house and having a bit of a clearout, which im hoping will help me out a bit mentally.
I've hit a bit of a brick wall!
I was meant to be doing a one mile fun run but im not really feeling 100% today (sod's law it would be when im off work!)

    Are you tired?

Why don't you give yourself the morning off and go back to bed for a few hours. You are always running around dashing here and there. You deserve a break!

I am tired..... but if I go back to bed, im going to be overly-tired if that makes sense.... and that'll make me feel worse.

I need to get on and do some things in the house so I dont feel like ive just sat on my backside for the whole week :)

Im the worst procrastinator though..... so need to get moving...

Woo hoo - payday this week, can't come soon enough.

Err I have decided to do the most un DFW thing in the world and am going to hand in my notice, the reason why it is un-DFW is because I have nothing to go to!

Just been doing my CV, it is still not feeling quite right but am going to send it to a couple of friends to rip apart before do any more to it but at least I have something that is up to date if i am asked for it in the meantime.

ETA - anyone seen doodledo of late? I hope she is OK and just basking in the joy of the new man

 Hope everyone is ok. Sounds like some good times maybe coming.

CAFC hope you have a lovely restful hols with a bit of sorting stuff too. If I could be bothered I'd argue I'm a better procrastinator maybe I'll do it later :rotfl:

PAID good luck finding a new job. I'm guessing you're not happy where you are so its the right ( and brave) decision.

Doodledo hasn't been around for ages. Too busy moving or maybe just lots of snogging!
Looking for the perfect home and saving to make becoming a MFW easier
